Life Changing
I haven't used this project very long, but I have seen a dramatic change in my dog's training progress already. I would absolutely recommend using one of these with proper instruction from capable trainers (This is not a 24/7 dog collar!).My trainer recommended this brand and material (steel, not chrome) and I can see why. The clasp makes this easier to use than other collars and lowers the risk of failure. The links seem to hold tightly in their own, but I feel more confident knowing I'm not pulling links apart every time I put the collar on. It is also simple to remove links if necessary, but not easy enough that the collar feels weak.I would recommend getting a backup collar, but I live near a busy road so I might be more paranoid than most.

If you do your research
In my own opinion you should not use a prong collar if you do not know how to properly use them. The reason I can that is the smaller prongs can come apart very easy if your dog pulls to much. It is a training tool to reduce pulling BUT it does not magically fix the pulling. But that being said I love this product I have been using it every day with my 70 lb dog. With the smaller prongs it makes the correction more pronounced which is a good thing. I ended up buying another one for my other dog to teach her basic manners while on the leash not really for pulling. But I would recommend this product as long as you do your research AND have it hooked to a backup collar just in case it does come lose

It is sturdy but difficult to put on a moving dog.
I am still using this collar but it is difficult to put on my dog. The clip is on the front and the leash is in the back.My moving dog makes this collar hard to use.

Great upgrade to chain martingale.
I began training our dog with a Mighty Paws martingale. It was and is a good collar but I felt that my stubborn dog would benefit from a prong collar. While in the house we like to remove our dog's collar altogether, so a traditional prong collar was not the right fit for us -- too difficult to put on and remove. We have been using the Pawmark collar for a few months now and are very pleased with it. Our dog is more responsive to corrections, the buckle hardware seems sturdy and has held-up well, and we love the minimalist black design. The collar has not let us down yet -- no prongs undone or buckle failure. An added benefit is that our might paws martingale was removing fur from the neck area from frequent corrections (so much heel training!). This issue has been eliminated with the Pawmark prong collar -- corrections are much less frequent and the collar is much lighter.

The links tails are too narrow and slip off easily when not aligned. Epic fail in the safety Dept.
I liked that it was black stainless steel but it totally failed while walking the pup with it. The link tails are poorly positioned and if they are kinked in any way they fall apart, which happened twice. I was lucky to keep my gsp from running across the street.

DANGEROUS! COMES APART WHILE WALKING OUR FUR BABIES!
I ordered this item because it was black. I was so excited to receive this and the only thing I like about this collar is it is black! Why? because the very first day I used this, the prongs came undone 3 different times while walking my 6 month old puppy! In the middle of our walk, we were passing a neighbor who we stopped to talk to and during the conversation the neighbor asks if I am starting off leash training. I said no and he pointed out my puppy was about 40 yards away. I look down at leash and there the collar is laying on the ground undone. Talk about almost having a heart attack! Luckily my puppy came when called and we immediately went home. After calming down, I inspected the collar and tried to see what the problem was and I could not see anything. Well 3 days later, I decided to give it another shot. Half hour into our walk, it happened again. I have no idea what the problem is but I WILL NOT use this ever again! Wish other companies would make a black prong collar that does not come apart while walking our fur babies!

It Works as Advertised!!!
It does what it says it would do - keeps my dog from pulling me while we walk or run. It's a little too small for my 66 LB German Sheperd. The description of length was not clear.

Great product!
Pawmark has made a great improvement to an already excellent product, making the collar easier to put on and remove. The quality/materials are second to none and the collar really works. I have a 6-month old standard schnauzer that has made great improvements in his training with the help of this collar. He's now much more attentive while healing and he no longer pulls the leash when he encounters squirrels, birds, dogs, and people. It took only a couple of tugs on the leash before he figured it out. He loves the collar (wags his tail when putting it on and wearing it) as opposed to the Halti lead previously used, which distracted him too much.
