These lights include the low voltage bulb and wiring connector. Although I am not a fan of this type of connector it can easily be cut off and the copper crimps and grease tubes can be used. This type of connector is best for california, nevada, Arizona, etc. and is not best for Florida as we constantly get torrential rains and these fail quickly. Like I mentioned just clip this connector off and dispose of, strip the wire ends and use the copper crimps and grease tubes to make the water free connections.The lighs are good wall lights or up lights for beneath a tree, uplight a boulder stack from within or uplight large bromeliads like blanchettial from below to get the look of fire in the landscape.This is a good set and is priced well below the 'name brand' lights that do the same exact thing.I am a landscape architect and have designed, installed, reviewed, inspected, specified tens of thousands of landscape lights and I feel that these are better than or equal all of the big priced lights that are name branded and come with a sales representative spouting junk just to convince you.With my hands on experience with these and advice to use grease tubes and copper crimps if you are in a locaiton with rain you will do well with these lights. Search for dry connector or dryconn landscape light and you will see a tan colored tube that looks lik you stuck your finger in it, get a bag of those and then search for copper crimp sleeve wire connector low voltage and the little copper sleeves that are a bag of 100 get those.

These appear to be heavy cast aluminum housings and well made. They come with pinch connectors to attach to the landscape power cables. My home is in Florida and my experience has been that the landscape water, which is on a separate system from the drinking/house water, here is corrosive and connections to the power cable require closed waterproof connectors.When I used pinch connectors in the past the water gets into where the connector pierces the power cable. They would corrode within a year. The connectors, and sometimes a section of the power cable, had to be replaced. I always use closed waterproof connectors now. So, I'll have to remove the pinch connectors from the lights when I install them. The landscape water may not be a problem in some areas and the connectors would work fine.

I'm just now installing these (spring weather). These are heavy metal and appear to be very weatherproof. Time will tell. But they are very professional quality. I don't pay much attention to the connectors that some with lights like these, I have a variety of lights and want to use the same connectors every time. I really like these lamps.

Easy to set up and use, must have a transformer to use with them

These are heavy duty yard lights that are easy to install and built to take what the weather or being stepped on brings for many years to come

Everything I have ever gotten from VENUS has been incredibly well made! Everything is built to last and withstand exposure to harsh elements mainly direct sunlight. These lights are no different, and couple that with one of their digital transformers and I have had flawless running lights since they've been installed. Not to mention it's a US company so bonus points for that! Highly recommend these

These are a very sturdy and quality landscape light set. Each light has its own wire connector to attach to your existing landscape cable. Simple and easy to install with basic DIY skills, if in doubt look it up online. They look fantastic both when lit or not and are heavy duty. Great uplighting effect with a warm white light. They really have a heft and quality feel to them. I am well pleased with these lights!

These lights arrived well packaged and exactly as the pictures on the Amazon site presented them. These are not cheaply made and they are reasonably priced for the quality. Having well designed and manufactured low voltage connectors make everything go much faster when installing these. I have others that are great lights but came with bare wire and wire nuts and it's much harder to get the main wire to lay flat and stay well connected. I also like the louvers on these, they protect the lens and add a little style. Overall these are nice lights.
