This stand turned my cats into lazy entitled little turd factories. They used to run and play, now they just sit on their cat perch and stare off into the room thinking what can only be nortoriously evil plots to overthrow the world. They used to have to travel the great journey from their kitty bed across the vastness of the living room to their food bowl. Now they just turn side ways, grab a bite, and go back to plotting on overthrowing the world.Only drawback will be when the cats finnaly make their move and off me... someone will have to patch the 16 holes the size of half dollars from the mounting hardware that came with this.

I was skeptical about this item but it installed beautifully. Not crazy easy, but easy enough. I had a whole vision about making this space work. I put a pass through in the bottom of the door so she can get it but the dog cannot. As long as you install it properly it’s perfectly sturdy.

I hung this for my 15 lb cat and have never had any concerns about its stability. I now have an automatic feeder that sits on the place where the bowls were. This was easy to assemble and has been a great addition to the decor!

Really liked it, my cats can now go up and down on them to eat their food without neighbors dogs eating it!

These are pretty good shelves! I took a star off for a couple of reasons, though: the included screws weren’t really long enough (I used my own) and there are no pre-drilled holes for them to go into. Using a screwdriver alone was really challenging, and having holes included would have made things easier. You’d be fine with a power drill, I’m sure. Also: I live alone, so holding up the top shelf to screw it in was really hard. I had to balance it on my head. 😂In terms of my cat’s reaction: He didn’t get what he was supposed to do. He looked at them for days, would just swipe the treats I put on the first stair to entice him (without climbing), and didn’t seem interested. On day 4 of this I finally just picked him up and put him at the top: He loved it up there, used the scratching post surface, and sat for a while. I did have treats in the bowl, but it was a little deep for him to be comfortable (whisker fatigue). I’d suggest filling it up high or using your own bowls. He was able to climb down, but the stairs are bit steep the way I’ve installed them. My fault. I ordered a wider single shelf at the bottom that should make using the smaller shelves easier.

I put it on a small wire shelving unit as mounting it on an apartment wall is verboten

I had to buy extra support for underneath the food bowl platform because even in studs, it was tipping. My cat doesn’t use the steps, but if he did I guarantee they’d fall off the wall even though they’re in studs. Need better support in the butterflies that are given with the screws. Otherwise is a great invention.

This entire outfit is quite nice but not for a large cat. Steps are somewhat small and the platform with the dishes is also on the small side.
