I bought these silicone baking mats to use when cooking meats in place of the parchment paper that I've been using, to be more environmentally friendly and save some money. So far, they're working great. The pyramid feature helps keep the meat from sitting in the juices. My biggest concern was how easy they would be to clean - I've used them 3 times now, for chicken and pork chops. I've found they clean pretty easily with hot water and a grease-cutting dish soap. To aid in the cleaning process, I've found it helps to take them outside and hose them down first - the force from the hose removes most of the grease and food particles, and then a soak in hot soapy water and then manually cleaning them with a cloth or hands gets the remainder of the grease off.

Just look at this! I cut bacon in half to bake at 375 for 20-25 mins. . I’ve never had bacon turn out so nice! Flat and no sticking! The grease I pour off the mat into the pan & then pour off the pan into a saved tin can. I sop up in rest w paper towels before putting it in the DW. Game Changer!

These are very nice quality.

I ordered this one because it said there were two. I could keep one intact and cut the other to meet my size needs. When I got it, it looked like one piece and was a decent thickness. I read one of the other reviews and they explained they were super thin and stuck together. So they were. I pulled them apart. They are ok just wish they were thicker but for what I’m using it for it is adequate.

The size of the treats this makes are perfect. It takes a little finesse to get the batter into all the wells, but once you do that, it’s oven safe and easy to clean in the dishwasher.
