This is a pretty powerful little pump. I've been running it for about two weeks nonstop now without any issues.The water output is for 3/8 inner diameter piping. It does not have a battery backup, so it only works when there's enough sun. If you position the panel wisely, it'll work like a charm. I've been trying out different spots and determined I needed more cable. I contacted the seller and they not only sent me the link to their extension cable, but sent me one for free! I'll update my review if anything changes materially in the future.

Bought for a small stock tank pond. Barely lasted for a month.

After 2 and a half months pump didn't appear to be working , troubleshot and found pump running but would only raise water about a foot and a half. Filter clean so not the issue, issue seems to be internal . I have looked for a replacement pump to no avail seems they only sell complete kits . My return window is over so I guess in the future will pay more attention to the negative reviews .

I have an outdoor fountain that I had to plug in. The amount of electricity we were using was noticeable on our utility bill. I bought the solar pump and converted the fountain and it works great! It was so easy to put together and it has more than enough power to push that water three feet up the tubing to cascade down the front. This was a great purchase and that fountain keeps going whenever the sun's out.

Do not have clear information about installation. Quality is ok but not for the price.

The photos and reviews for this fountain pump do not represent this product at all - barely any water comes out of the pump not even enough to make our fountain work. We tried several times each with the same terrible results. Please know we have a small fountain like 20 gallons, nothing like the big fountains in the photos - results were nothing like the pictures. Total garbage, and returning. Have to go with electric - this solar pump does not work.

Nothing to dislike I used for my water fountain as part of the landscape.

First off, I am using this in Florida, bright sun pretty much all day long. Even when mostly overcast the sun is still sufficient to work this pump. Your results may be totally different the further north you go.With that said, it works well for what I need. I was just looking to pump water up to the top of a fountain where it would trickle down for a waterfall effect. I was not looking for a jet of water into the air. But I did test that and it seemed to work pretty good. Not a huge jet of water but nice enough for a small pond to aerate the water or just look nice.It pumps sufficient volume for my needs to create the small waterfall effect I wanted. The solar panel drives it well as long as you keep it clean. With all the dirt in the air that means wiping it down once a week or so here during high pollen season. Other than that it works as I expected and I am happy with it.
