Small birds get tangled
The netting works BUT small birds (like house sparrows and smaller) will get tangled. Luckily I was able to see and extract a small bird before it came to harm. Use with caution or use different netting that will not harm our small song birds.

Basic bird netting
I've used this type of netting for several purposes:~ Draped over a frame around my strawberry plants (see photo) to keep the birds from snatching my berries. Very successful.~ Draped over rows of onion seedlings to keep the neighborhood cats from digging around in the sawdust mulch. Very successful.~ Spread on the ground under my two apple trees to discourage deer from eating all the drop apples. Quite successful. The critters don't seem to like treading on the net. However, it's a pain to pull the net back up after the grass has grown a couple of inches through it.This particular netting seems to be lighter weight stuff than other bird netting I've used. Time will tell how well it lasts without damage.

I hope it keeps the squirrels at bay
I grow San Marzano tomatoes, that I then season, smoke with hickory, then dehydrate (yes, they are amazing), and each year the squirrels have a little feast in my garden. They like to go through and take one bite out of each tomato before going onto the next one.It wouldn't bother me if they actually ate some tomatoes, but they seem determined just to ruin them. And that's why I ordered this netting. I'm hoping it will be a strong enough barrier to keep them at bay. The material seems strong enough (unless they decide to eat it), it's light weight, and it was easy to attach to tall wooden stakes and encircle my little garden plot.Until I see it in action, I'll give it 4 stars. If it works well, it's a very affordable defense that could be 5 stars.

Size is way off!
This netting is NOT 7’ x 100’ as advertise it is 4’ x100’!! What a ripoff! I’m using it to cover a chicken run and zipping it together and this made my job twice as difficult and twice as time consuming because you lied about the the size of the netting! Even stretched out it is 4’ wide at max! Cheap crap is what I bought 🤬

Excellent Net
This is great stuff if you need to keep birds off your plants.I ordered this to keep chickens out and it is perfect for that use. Keep in mind, anything near the edges of the net will still get eaten. Birds will peck as far into the net as they can, so keep that in mind if you are covering a fruiting plant. This net is super easy to use - it's east to lay out and cut. It can be draped over garden supports or around u posts and such.I find this MUCH more durable than other material, like row covers. If you live in a windy region, this stuff is ideal since the large holes in the net allow the wind to go through, unlike tighter netting or garden fabrics that just get shredded immediately.I have found this to be durable enough that the birds can't get though it. The black color nearly dissappears into the background and it's really not visually disruptive.Overall, this is great and I will order more of it. It's really a garden saver.

Bags are junk
The netting is ok at best. The green netting is too small to do anything. They are small jewelry size bags. Not even the size of a 6 inch pot could grow up from it. Netting price is now way way too much for price paid.
