....but worth it, particularly if you have a dog that isn't a "keen" feeder. I have 2 dogs, one will eat anything in any quantity she can get at, the other when he reached a year old decided that she could have his meals as well as her own...he wasn't bothered. (she's not allowed to by the way..) They are raw fed (and had been from weaning) and until about 12 months old he was an enthusiastic feeder. Now he is still raw fed but this supplements his food as it is the highest calorie value food gram for gram around. I carry a pocket full with me when ever we walk/train and his reward is a small handful which is devoured with enthusiasm. He loves it and so does she if she can get her nose into it!!Amazon is the best price available.

my sons douge had to have emergency surgurey and had lost a lot of weight after feeding this food has regained her weight and more energy tham before I would recommend this for any post operative dogs
