Q: Is it quite heavy so that it doesnt blow over and around the garden? or is it lightweight please?

It is light but I have it on a high wooden post with three screws around it just incase. But I have others that are light and they have been out in all weather and never blown over.

Yes it does have a button, take out the solar panel and you will see the little bulb and a rubber switch/button beside it for on/off. Hope this helps
