Briar Straight pipe, Quality Handmade pipe with smooth Stem, Beginner Pipe(Light Brown)

Very nice smoking pipe! I purchased four (in different shades). Holds more tobacco than I would have guessed with its petiteness. Slightly difficult to grip but easy to clench (very lightweight, but not necessarily in a bad way!). After a little break in the bowl only gets warm, not hot! Inexpensive quality!!

As a beginner in the pipe smoking community, I can't provide much insight as to how this pipe compares with many others. I only have a few pipes as of now, but I can tell you that this one is definitely different from those. Not in a bad way either.First it is VERY light and small. I was concerned about using it because I was afraid I would break it. The bowl isn't real thick and there was no carbon cake or "pre-seasoning" if you will. The wood is attractive, but it doesn't feel substantial. Its compact size seems almost too diminutive. With all that said...I actually like it! The light weight means it sits comfortably and easily in the mouth. No need to clench more robustly to hold it in place. The smallish bowl is plenty big enough for me to "practice" my technique and the overall size makes it very easy to pocket. My sample has a nice grain pattern that while subtle, still presents a good appearance. As a beginner, I'm happy to add this to my little collection. I believe it will help me become a more refined enthusiast and confident piper.

The media could not be loaded. It is beautiful, it is small but it is NOT carbonized in the bowl. Since some advertising is false and perhaps misleading, my 29 days will gauge performance and dependability verse value. Lovely box and bag but I didn’t buy it for that.

The pipe is well made and nicely finished. However, I bought it relying on the picture and the description to show a nice grain pattern in the briar. The pipe that I received shows NO grain pattern at all. I returned it via Amazon.

For the price, this little guy actually smokes really well!

I wish there was a standard way to describe pipes, just like there is for cigars.The photo shows what I will call small, regular and large pipes. These pipes are small, but nice for the price. I like that it accepts 9mm filters. There is no carbon liner like some pipes offer, but for the price you can’t ask for all the bells and whistles. I’m happy with my purchase. Good for a shorter smoke.The top left pipe is what I received.

I would say the box was water damaged. After prying the box open there was mold in the box on the pipe bag and the pipe. Ordered a replacement...same thing. One star because I couldn't give it zero.
