I Have Seen the Light!
Bought this unit to replace a Kohree® Wireless PIR Motion Sensor Super Bright 10 LED Light for use in a semi-dark closet. This particular closet apparently receives too much light for the Kohree motion detector/auto-on to work consistently, and I couldn't locate the light sensor to cover it. Rather than return the Kohree, however, I moved it to another (darker) closet, where it is working quite well. The Fulcrum seems to be somewhat less sensitive to light and is working flawlessly in the first closet. However, I also note that the Fulcrum: 1) is noticeably brighter than the Kohree; 2) has a multi-function switch that allows it to operate manually or automatically with the built-in motion detector; 3) comes with a bracket that allows the light to be angled downward rather than just flat-mounted to the wall; and 4) easily pops out of the mounting bracket for battery replacement or use as a flashlight. My only complaint is the same one mentioned by other reviewers - the template for the mounting bracket is "off" by about half an inch. Irritating though not a deal breaker, but, seriously, how did they get that so wrong?? In summary, the Fulcrum is more expensive than the Kohree, but for my particular need it was worth the extra cost. FYI, I would note that the Kohree appears to be the same wireless light marketed under various other brand names on Amazon. One final note: I do not yet know how quickly the Fulcrum (or the Kohree) will go through batteries, but I use Panasonic eneloop rechargeable AA batteries, which have been proven cost savers in all my remote controls and other portable devices.

The best lights in the world.
The lights probably aren't as long as I thought (just under a foot) but they work great. There is a switch on it that has three settings Manual, so you can turn it on and off yourself, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds. Which both use the motion sensor. So far that works great. I was surprised by the range of the sensor (for something this small I would have thought I needed to wave my hand in front of it).The best part (maybe) is the bracket that comes with it. Its a good plastic that the light fits into. They give you plenty of ways to mount it.I say maybe, because you are probably paying 3-4 dollars just for the bracket.I guess if I had to pick a con. When you have the thing switched to manual you turn it on and its on full, you push the button again and it dims I guess with half brightness, then off. When its set to timer the light only is on the bright setting. Not a big deal for me because I'm using it in a closet where I need it full light. If you need light in a closet I got two of these and they are perfect for my situation.

Nice light for my closet.
Not bad at all. I wanted a light strip that would plug in to an outlet, but it wasn't feasible. I have a closet with no light. I could not put this up with a drill but I did use the larger comand strips and put the light in the tiltable holder. It works great! My only problem it has replaceable batteries and though it won't be a problem replacing them, I just wonder how often will I have to replace them? Right now it is a big help and I have it on switch on so that it will not come on without one turning it on and off.

Repeat buyer
I bought one and then one more and then one more after. It is nice to have the motion sensor activate in dark areas. I really like them cause no fumbling for light switch and no major intense light going to bathroom in middle of night. How bright? Brightness is somewhat volume dependent so bigger areas not so bright smaller areas brighter. Either way the sensor and light combo comes on very well. You will light up enough to see. One caution. The template they provide to drill holes is wrong. If you use the template, you will be off by an inch. Verify your hole pattern before you drill. If you have an extra wall anchor from another job, then you might use them. The provided wall anchors are pretty weak. Battery life - started a new light over 2014 holidays and still in use Feb.2 - seems like they go pretty long - not a huge draining energy system. Only replaced one set of batteries so far. Hard to be perfect product but like the system despite any minor shortcomings.

Works, but wish were brighter
Mounted in a closet. Motion detection works really well to turn it on when the closet door opens.Wish it were brighter, it's just barely sufficient even on the high setting. The light color is very blueish.

Works Great for Small Kitchen Pantry Closet
I purchased this for our kitchen pantry, which was always dark especially on the lower shelves. I mounted it on the side wall near the door hinges at my wife's request. It was easy to mount using the screws and wall anchors provided. I set it on motion detector and it works great. It has never failed to come on and it shuts itself off soon after the door is closed. We've only had it about a month so I can not say how long the battery life will be, but my wife is pleased with it. The light is not overly bright, but is bright enough to see comfortably in the small 3 foot by 3 foot pantry closet. I will probably buy another one of these for the utility closet as they work well and it's much easier than running an electrical wire.

I am completely satisfied with this fixture to light a dark closet.
We have a closet that was dark and it was impossible to discern the colors of the clothing. I had to take things out of the closet to be able to see if they were black or navy blue. This light has a motion sensor, but we opted not to use it. It took a lot of waving to get it to turn on, and almost a minute and a half for it to shut off (a waste of the batteries). It also has a button to turn it on and off. So we opted to install it using the Velcro tabs to the side of the doorway on the inside of the closet. At the top of the doorway would have worked except that I am too short to reach it. The placement that we chose makes it easy for my to press the button to light the closet, and the lighting is sufficient to see colors of the clothing. I am completely satisfied with the lighting this fixture provides, and would recommend to anyone wanting to light a dark area.

Great for closets
Put this above the door in our closet instead of getting an electrician to wire in a light and switch. I think it would take me 200 years of buying batteries for this to equal the cost of the install, and this doesn't need a light switch. Made a handy grab-and-go flashlight for other needs too. I'm sure there are brighter ones out here, but overall this is a great package and worked really well for what we wanted.

I am happy with the purchase
I have fixed it in my kitchen. When I have to drink water it turns on. Avoids the need to turn on any light. The manual mode is helpful during power cuts. One led was not getting on. Soldered it. Got it working again.I am happy with the purchase.

Works great in our closet
Works great in our closet. Batteries lasted a year with the light being activated multiple times a day. The only "negative" is that the sensor is rather good so if you have the closet door open and walk by the light goes on more then you need.
