when i opened the box i thought it was a good product charged it up turned it on very dim light then saw not all Led were working. contacted seller and i got a refund. Note! in the pictures it shows bright purple light! you will not get this it has clear plastic tube in the middle that looks light a bulb but it is not! the purple light from the small LED is supposed to shine through this! if my one was working i would say the LED is not powerful or bright enough for it to work. but seller was quick to respond.

I have purchased two of these and neither of them last over 6 hours so I cannot see how they can advertise 16 hours run time. They take around 4 1/2 hours to charge for around 6 hours running which will not even last one night. False promises

Hope this works, but £40 for something that looks like a 10yr old has made it doesn't impress me so far.

We live in an area with a huge number of mosquitoes so bought a couple of these to put in central parts of the house. They seem to work, appears like there are fewer mosquitoes in the house and no one has been bitten, yet…! The only slight negative is that the battery life isn’t that long so they need to be plugged in to last throughout the night. Generally pleased though. Hopefully they last!

It only worked in that it switched on and lit up. Left in a room for a few hours (also overnight) where 5 or 6 house flies were present and simply did not work. Also tried different lighting conditions in different rooms. I was desperate to get a result since I've a strong aversion to flies especially where food is concerned. I stood the apparatus about a foot away from a settled fly - it just eventually took off ignoring it!

I bought this thing to deal with mosquitos in my greenhouse that keep biting me when I go in to water the plants. Well, it certainly works. I placed it next to a plant that seems to attract them (probably due to the standing water in the floor-pot saucers) and in the morning there was a pile of dead mosquitos inside the unit. The manufacturers include a handy cleaning brush too. The battery life also seems to be pretty good, but I also connected it to a 20Ah USB power bank. In 24 hours under 1% of the power bank had been used. All-in-all it does the job, but realistically you should not expect it to perform as well as the larger mains powered units that you see in commercial kitchens.

I was abit unsure when looking to purchase one of these and should have listened to other reviews. its a bight light but it doesn't do anything to the little pests. I WOULD'NT recommend buying this product

Ideal for fishing, everyone needs to keep the mozzies away during the evenings! Worked very well and extremely happy with this product... would recommend.
