4/16/19 EDIT: It’s been a while that I’ve had this case. And one thing it doesn’t help against is drop or fall damage. I’ve accidentally dropped my iPhone X with this battery case on it and each time my phone has gotten damaged. Luckily no broken screen yet but I do have some damage to the sides, corners and I do have a minor dent in the top left corner of my screen. This case has also scratched the back glass of the phone despite cleaning the phone and case before and after use. I guess the phone could be in worse damage but even a basic two foot drop off the couch it should be able to protect against. If you want this case, expect it work more as an external battery and less like a protective case. I should also say that a couple months after using it I no longer could charge my phone and case at the same time. I had to start charging the case and phone separately.I play a TON of Pokémon GO and this allows me to not have to carry a separate external battery. I’ve shown it to a bunch of my friends who also have iPhone X’ and they bought them and are very happy too. The magnet works pretty good for me magnet mount in my car as well. I see a lot of people who say it doesn’t allow for file transfer, yet it does. Just not through iTunes.

I like the case and the way it feels in my hand. I can go at least 2 days without recharging which makes it very nice. The big downside is that 4 or more times a day I have to take it out to of the to use my diabetes meter. That sucks. I need to see about another case and see if I can sell this one. Taking it in and out so many times I bent the connector.

It worked great at first, but stopped working about four months after I got it. First I had to insert my phone only partway for it to charge, and now it won't charge/turn on at all, no matter how I angle/insert the phone. I realize it wasn't very expensive, but I'd hoped it would last at least half a year....

At first I thought the thing was just not working until I discovered a small button on bottom of phone. You must manually tell power pack to start charging. It ripples the battery life of phone, so no longer needed to carry external chargers, power packs, etc on long trips.fit and finish are as if it were made by Apple. Protects camera lens well.The only thing I do not know is whether pack is water resistant like the phone, but if it is, it is perfection.

5 stars not for the size/weight, but because it looks good on the iPhoneX and works great. We have a few iPhoneX users now and, while this weight doesn't work for all of them, others have been very happy with form and function.

I wanted to love this case, but it doesn't protect the edges of the IPhone X so I broke my screen for the first time ever and I have had a lot of IPhones. It does provide a very long charge and is easy to take off.

Didn’t last. Am replacing it now, 6 month later. Stopped holding a charge very fast.
