Gorgeous! I'm pretty handy so the assembly wasn't daunting to me, but I can see where it might be for someone less mechanical. There are a few things to screw in and line up, but it's not too bad and even when I got it wrong, I could redo without difficulty. It's slightly unclear about which way to orient the weighted foot (I admit that I only browsed the instructions.) It's pretty stable once I got it right (weight goes on the side of the lamps.) Even on a thick carpet, it only leans slightly and there's never been a threat of it falling over, but I keep it near a wall and everyone shorter than about 5' 6" can walk under it. I'm 5' 11" and spread the poles a little to make it easier for me to dodge the shades. The poles can be bent a little to accommodate​ different heights, but I wouldn't push that too far on such a nice light.I'm not entirely sold on the longevity of the "loose cords" that the shades and bulbs hang on. I'd prefer to see a bit more of a curve where the cords exit the poles, but the cord is reasonably heavy and the shades are light. I'm sure it's a design decision, and without more mounting hardware, it makes it easier to pack/ship and lighter on the floor. The cord does have a slightly tacky feel to it, so I suspect that over the course of years, will collect dust and the only thing I can think of to clean it would be something adhesive, like tape.I've been looking for a good lamp to put behind a couch and this one is it! Adjust your bulb wattages as the center lights first, the two outers light second, then all light on the third click. Love it!

Easy to assemble and adds just the right touch to the corner above our loveseat.

Looks great just make sure to not have to move it too much, which makes cleaning complicated

The assembling was time consuming, but that’s expected, and it was fairly easy overall. I think each lamp was supposed to light up individually, but the two lower-armed ones light up together only (not individually). It gives the room character and ambiance light. It also works well for reading. I’d post pics but, honestly, they’d look just like the ones that have already been posted by others. Bottom line, we would recommend this lamp.

I absolutely love this lamp! I considered a few similar options and I'm so glad I went with this one. It was packaged to ensure that it arrived in pristine condition. I probably could have assembled it myself but my father was available to help me, and I definitely think that made assembly go more quickly. The knob to turn on the bulbs is conveniently located on the pole, making it easy to reach when sitting on the sofa. It seems to be very well made and I'm really pleased with how it looks in my house.

The based popped up on it's own a month after owning this. If you press it down, it pops up again. Construction is poor for the price and I will now have to glue down myself. Metal is very thin and looks like cheap plastic especially at connection points.

We have a great room that does not have any overhead lighting, so need several lamps to provide light in the room. Looked at lamps at Home Depot, Lowe's, and Amazon, and came across this one. For a 3-light arc lamp, this one is a great price, especially with the 3-way switch. It was fairly straightforward to assemble and is providing new, much-needed light in our space.

I love the way this lamp looks but putting it together was a nightmare. I had to settle for the way the bottom screwed into the base. It kept screwing in at an angle...once I could get it to screw in at all. Finally use petroleum jelly to lubricate the threads so I could turn the bar. Then I had to keep standing back to try to keep the bar from angling. Then there was the matter three microscopic screws that fastened the three arms in place. best of all was the screw that was supposed to screw in mid-way up the lamp that had nothing to screw into. I had to just take my chances the weight of the lamp would keep it together. But once I pushed through it looks really nice. Would I buy it again--never.
