Working Well
I'm using this in my Epic water pitcher and it fits perfectly. It filtered water a little slower in the beginning, but is now doing it faster. The water tastes clean and just like it did when I used the original filter that came with my pitcher.

Filters Water Contaminants
These filters seem to work well to filter city water to remove larger contaminants such as metals.

nobody knows what it does, don't trust it
I replaced my original epic filter which had become almost full with this one. But the water dripped so fast that I doubt it indeed filters anything. So I switched back. Later as I wanted to give it a second try, there was no way I could screw it on again. If they can't make the screw thread right, how can they make the right filter? I then ordered an original epic filter. The new epic filter weights 4.62 g, this one is 6.38. Who knows what this one is made off. The epic filter dripping speed is much more reasonable. I returned this one and stick to the original filter. Since we have no idea what this filter is filtering, we use the epic filter for only one purpose that is to get rid of the toxic stuff in the water, I want to be safe than sorrow. The epic filter costs three times more, but it's worth.
