The longer toothed combs were always a bit harsh on our dog, I had never tried a slicker brush until this one! It's perfect!! Now we're able to get a ton of fur out in one go as our pup sheds her winter coat.Great brush, highly recommend!

This grooming brush works great. Gentle and the trigger makes cleaning so much faster and easier.Now that I have tried a self cleaning brush, I will never go back to using the ones from the dollar store.There is only one negative I encountered. The trigger will make the plastic cover guard fall off and risk breakage. The clear cover plastic seems rather frail.If you plan on purchasing, be aware this is a white label product. You may be able to find the same brush in a different color at half the current asking price.

This is a really nice pet brush. The tips have rubber on them, so it keeps the metal from raking the skin. The hair dumps off easily by pushing the release. My cats seem to love it.

I've had long haired cats over the years, so when I rescued my young man from the shelter, I didn't even think about how much my old brush might hurt since it has the sharp metal tines. So I was looking for a slicker brush that had ball tips so it was gentler on his skin since he's got short, fine hair and he sheds A LOT.He still hates to be brushed gently. But he's warming up to this one at least. He's even walked over to me when I hold it up and gently rubbed his own face on it. So we're already making progress. I was able to get one side of him brushed a little when he was asleep, and this did a great job of catching so much loose hair! So it's effective and really easy to use.Not only is the brush easy to clean with the press of a button, but I like that it has a cover to keep the bristles from getting bent. I've lost several brushes thanks to bent or broken tines. I thought it might be too big for a cat, but it's just a matter of getting used to the larger size. It has a comfortable grip handle and would work equally well on a cat or a larger dog.Definitely recommend this brush for your furball!

My kitties approve. They actually like being brushed with this brush. They don’t like the basic cat comb. This one they let me brush them longer than 10 seconds to get all the excess hair. Love that it’s self cleaning so hair doesn’t stay trapped and hard to remove. It’s a little large for cats smaller areas like their neck and legs but seems to be working well enough.

As a husky parent, this makes my life so much easier. The hair comes off the brush with ease with a push of the button! Love this so much!
