Q: I can’t set up my own password?

To set your own password, first make sure its reset to default (0000) by either pressing the reset button, or removing the batteries. Then press the unlock button on bottom right, enter default password (0000), press the "fingerprint area" and open the "safe". While the safe is open, press the password key on lower left of the keypad. A red light should light up, and you can enter your new password.
