Thorns of Lust: Thorns of Omertà, Book 1

Tatiana has been in her brothers books and I have really wanted to read her story and see her get a happy ending so I jumped straight into this one and couldn't put it down. My heart went out to her and her struggles just pulled me in to the story as despite her grief and trying to cope you could still see the fire in her. The determination not to do as she's ordered and fighting to find the truth made me want to see her get hea even more though.Oh course her story couldn't be easy and so enemies to lovers was obvious choice of Illias but what I enjoyed was his complete obsession for her and knowing he loved her rather than fighting against it his fight is with her and there pasts.I loved the writing and have never been more glad of the quick release of part 2 as diving straight into that to see what is going to happen.

Great recall all round I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book so much. It was brilliant and well written x x

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I loved this story, but it just felt like something was missing. It felt like this book was more of a build up to the next book where things would funnaly start to come into place. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely loved Tatiana and Konstantin, their story is so different from Eva Winners previous books and I can’t wait to see where things will lead in thorns of love.In this book you follow Tatiana having to navigate through life after her husbands passing. But when things start piling up she realises she didn’t quite know her husband like she thought. After people begin hunting her she questions what her husband was up to and why she’s now being dragged into it. Secrets start coming out and In order to make sense of it all she must follow the clues. But things get in the way. A gorgeous distraction known as Konstantin. He’s been watching her from a far for a very long time and now he’s got her he’s never letting her go again.Konstantin has been obsessed with Tatinana since the first time they met. The only problem is she doesn’t remember him. But he won’t let that sway him, he will make her his if it’s the last thing he does. As the Pakhan of Russia he used to getting what he wants. Unfortunately for him Tatiana is a stubborn, strong headed women, and won’t be forced into anything. Can he win her over or will it end in a war.Follow this story to find out what was really going on with Tatiana’s former husband, and if Konstantin manages to work his way into Tatiana’s heart or if too much has passed between the two of them. And will he be able to leave her if that’s what she chooses? This book does touch on some more sensitive and dark topics so please check trigger and content warnings before reading, but it’s definitely worth the read. I would highly recommend it.

It was sexy, steamy and HOT in all the right places.Tatiana is very stubborn, she’s determined at getting what she wants and not accepting of the life she should be taking given her family history.She’s been through a lot in this book, her emotions have been everywhere. I felt so sorry for her at the start, it was a dramatic start to the book and very heartbreaking.🥵 “𝕀 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕣𝕦𝕚𝕟 𝕪𝕠𝕦. 𝔹𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦. 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕡𝕦𝕥 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕥𝕠𝕘𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣.” 🥵Konstantin… where do I even begin. Stubborn, full of himself, ego bigger than anything I can think of and determine AF!There paths have crossed previously but Tatiana can’t remember… it seems they’re more acquainted than we can believe!I look forward to jumping right into #ThornsofLove to see where Tatiana and Konstantin end up. 4★/53.5🌶/5*Arc Review*I was completely intrigued, immersed in Konstantin and Tatiana’s story, even before I started Thorns of Lust. They were explosive and intense together, constant banter, witty returns, combined with lust, passion and chemistry only spiced it up. Loneliness, despair, frustration and anger filled Tatiana's life. She wasn’t dealing the best way with losing her husband, who left more secrets and unanswered questions behind him, and putting her life in danger.While trying to find desperately needed answers, Tatiana’s path gets crossed more and more often with Konstantin, who not only protects her from awaiting danger, but as well wake up in her all those feelings she thought would never surface, filled with desire.

I have been waiting for Eva's next books to come out and wow she didn't disappoint!!This book follows Tatiana with Illias. If you have read Eva's other books you will have an idea of who these are but I'm sure if you are new to her, you will understand too. She manages to explain so well not only all the family dynamics but the mafia structures so well.This one is part of a duet so it's definitely slower to get into the plot but gosh! Its worth it! I'll be posting my review for the second book now so check that out to see the rest of my thoughts 💭

This was a fantastic page turner .This was a fast paced book full of secrets, drama, friendship, romance and completely unpredictable. The twists kept me completely invested in the story. I love that there were flashbacks as they helped to provide context to the overall story.Love Tatiana as the main character, she cope with everything she’s gone through with determination and strength. konstantin is everything you would expect in a man who’s a leader. Their push pull is fantastic.Thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys dark romance
