Kleiber 145 cm² Flick Plus Fertig Self Adhesive Nylon Repair Tape, Black

I purchased this item to repair a rip on the knee of my waterproof trousers. This tape is super easy to use - just cut the length /size you require and stick it on. I would recommend cutting a large enough piece to allow a overlap of at least 1cm around your rip/hole to ensure that the tape has good adhesion around the edge as on my first application I only left a few millimetres on one side which after a few washes began to peel- although this was definitely made worse as it was a knee rip so lots of movement and stress from bending. This is a great product for repairing items and remains in place even after many washes. Bargain!

This saved me having to recover / discard some office chairs. Repair seems strong so far. Not much in each pack.

I bought it to repair a tear in my sofa & much to my dismay, discovered that one can see straight through the tape, rendering the tear still extremely visible. You don't get much of a quantity for your money either.

"Kleiber 145 cm² Flick Plus Fertig Self Adhesive Nylon Repair Tape, Black" comes as a single rectangular piece of self-adhesive fabric tape that can be used as-is for a large tear or cut to size for smaller ones. It is also quite inexpensive and available in various colours. It is also quite thin fabric and has some flexibility.Generally, when repairing a rip or hole in an item of clothing, an iron-on patch or a piece of the same or similar fabric can be used with a melt adhesive iron-on tape. The same principle could equally be applied to tent fabric and other such items but the repair, in this instance, was to the lining of an equipment case where there was underlying cushioning foam and thick polythene(?) mouldings that formed portions of its interior that would have been affected by the heat required. Additionally, the location of the tear would make use of an iron quite impossible.There are repair tapes that permit the use of a hot air gun at a specified temperature to help soften their adhesive and create a better and longer-lasting fix; this is not one of them.

I bought this item to mend a tear in my coat, I cut a circular piece and it stuck really well the only downside was the colour was lighter than the coat more blue than navy.

Good job covered a small hole in my jacket.
