Transformers: Lost Light, Vol. 1 Paperback – November 7, 2017

I’ve written several times to heap praise on James Roberts. Even if i did it every day for 5 years straight, it still wouldn’t be enough. It still wouldn’t give him enough credit for what he has done. I am so freaking thankful that this book (basically MTMTE continued) has been given the chance to survive. No small feat in the current industry climate of Reboots, “Event Stories”, dizzying Creative team turnaround, Lenticular covers & endless other gimmicks and cash grabs. I’ll say it again....Roberts has created the richest most beautiful World is all of Comics. I read everything Folks & IMO this book blows everything else currently on the market away, & it does it by a huge margin.If you read this, do yourself a favor....buy Vol 1 of More Than Meets The Eye by James Roberts. Buy it used if you have to, just buy it. You will thank me i promise.

I read this to my son every night and he loves it. He’s only seven but he follows along with all the inter-dimensional drama!

Rung punches a moon. If I could give this six stars I would do so just because of that moment.Also, the ending of this volume is incredible and is still fueling speculation among Transformers fans about what comes next for... well, just read it!

This is a worthy successor to Transformers More Than Meets the Eye. I was pleased and impressed with the quality of the story, the depth of character building, and the way in which Megatron was used. I cannot wait to continue the story in Volume 2.

What a way to pick up after the last issue of mtmte. The while series is so well written and the art is great. Definitely worth a read.

This was very gripping. I feel like it answers questions I had previously. The journey continues in unexpected ways. Glad to see some character development.

[Left review of the same caliber on #2]Bought listed as New in condition with full price, both copies came as if they were kept in a grandmother's attic, scruffed at the edges and pushed in on the corners. Condition listing is deceptive and even my years old copies of this comicbook series don't look this bad. If I knew this was the quality I was going to get, I would have bought used ones.

Haven't even started reading the storyline as when the artwork is as bad as it is here, it is very difficult to focus on the story. The artwork is very childlike and poorly coloured, a shame considering some of the stunning artwork seen in previous IDW Transformers series. I hope it improves for the next collection.I have since read a good portion of the book, luckily the story almost makes up for the artwork but it's a shame the story didn't receive the artwork it deserved.
