The Midnight Bride: 2 (Dead Lands)

Why Amazon insist on a 20 word minimum for a review via kindle,I don't know. Especially when all I want to say is that I really enjoyed this book.

The Dead Lands series is amazing.I wish we had 20 volumes to read already.This one was just as lovely as The Midwinter Mail-Order Bride.I just adore how compelling the romance are and how interesting the worldbuilding is (without being too much.)Can't wait to read more!

What more can I say except that this was sheer Kari Wilde perfection!!! I love Aruk and Jalisa and did not think this could possibly top that in my mind and yet it did, tenfold! Strax was gorgeous in his devotion and Mara amazing in her quiet strength and determination!You start and you literally can’t stop reading until the end of their journey! Thank you for this! I have loved the stories in this world starting with The midwinter mail order bride and am looking forward to the next instalment!

Kati Wilde can do no wrong for me, whether MC, shifter PNR, fantasy quests, or standard romance. Strax and Mara's quest for the gauntlet was short and sweet but full of feels and lovely writing.

This was a fantastic addition to this series. I think I might have even enjoyed it more than book one. It’s s fun, quick read & the hero is more than a bit yum!
