I have been looking for a regular hat for years. Not a truckers hat, not a runners hat, not a bikers hat, not a commando hat, and definitely not a visor. Just a friggin hat to wear when I'm out in the world and my hair looks like crap and/or the sun is is in my eyes. Something simple. No LOUD brands or colors. Cotton. Broken in, but not distressed, I'll do that on my own than you very much. And I think I finally found it. This hat! It's just a hat. A very comfortable hat that easily adjusts to fit smaller heads. The graphic on the front is great. Understated but both a nod to the brand and hey, who doesn't like trees? Seriously. All around quality made. I've been buying pistil stuff for years now and they seldom disappoint in the quality department. I like that they took the departure from some of their more unique and feminine styles to just make a hey, I'm going to walk the dog/go to the grocery store/just woke up/travelling, just a do-it-all hat. I'm not going to say it's a flattering hat as I don't think that's the point. If you look cute in it, that's great, but for me, it is about being a workhorse of a hat. I look forward to many years of wear.

Bill was crooked and has resisted reshaping. Every time I wear it I have to rebend it so it appears symmetrical. Otherwise a nice hat.

Cute had, nice dark black and fits great. So far, no fading- but I haven’t used it enough for that. I only wish it had an actual snap to disconnect the adjustable strap, as some of these hats do, in order get my ponytail through a little easier.

Simple hat

This hat is cute and nice but I expected it to be better at this price. It has cute embroidery and I love the fabric tape on the inside, with the little gold Oregon maps and outdoorsy Oregon images. My hat arrived with a hole in it, with a kinda crooked brim and somewhat odd fit. The adjustment strap on the back slips so the hat keeps getting bigger. I'm concerned that the hat will shrink when washed. Otherwise I think it's really cute and I love the tree embroidery on the front. Even the colors are variations on the Oregon flag's colors. I've been wearing it every day despite the quality control issues.

It's hard to find a hat to fit my big fat head. This actually fits with room to spare but the problem like with most hats is either you have to make it really tight or else it keeps tipping forward.
