Worth trying
I enjoy a sampler of pour over coffees like this where they describe the flavor notes in each package. It’s fun! First I tasted Hana for its flavor notes of sweet vanilla & brown sugar. I prefer a bean with a hint of dark chocolate or cocoa for its earthy notes. (Or notes of red wine in a freshly roasted Ethiopian Harrar is delicious or notes of juiciness that stands out like in Starbucks Kenya). Rather these notes of milk chocolate - it’s just not my favorite flavor. But the milk chocolate was okay since it was fresh & robust and I knew to expect it : ) in this cup of joe. Overall: The aroma is good when you open the individual pouch. The freshness and taste deliver on that hint of sweetness I was craving.I enjoyed trying it once, and would gladly have another cup of Hana while camping or on vacation - but I would not buy a whole box of just this flavor.Today I had Rusalla for its bright floral & lemon lime. The package says honeysuckle flavor note is first & foremost but that’s a light, subtle flavor in general and I could not find here at all - maybe if the bean were fresher that layer would still be here front & center. The floral was okay. I like lighter roasts and flavors for spring and summer. Rusalla is drinkable camping - but not something I want a second cup of back home. There are five flavors in all. I like Hawaiin Kona like coffee beans so these are my little morning adventure for the week. Glad Amazon sells good quality pour overs to try. I have purchased several high end camping meals, coffees and snacks here and have become a big fan of them!

Wrong item sent
It tastes good, however, I ordered the variety set and I received the white pack only. I wanted to try all the flavors, but I only got to try 1. Disappointing. They didn't let me return it or replace it either :(

Smells wonderful but tastes horrible
I purchased two boxes based on flavor descriptions. These are single serving “hang-ear” coffee bags for a quick cup when you don’t have time to grind the beans. I have tried several different brands of these single serving coffees and these are the most expensive ($2 a cup). I was excited to brew my first cup by following instructions on the bag. Once the hot water is in, it delivers a wonderful aroma with all the flavor notes it promised. Unfortunately, the taste of it is a completely different matter. What can I say, I should have known that good coffee doesn’t have to hide behind strong additive flavors. If you drink coffee with milk or creamer, this might still work for you. It will taste like a cup of flavored coffee. If you drink coffee black like me, this will disappoint. I won’t buy again and the rest of the bags will be donated to my office.

Bad coffee and worse design
I’ve used Kuju coffee before and was hoping try something different to see if something better is out there. Definitely worse. Not better. The first time I used it the handles broke and the bag dropped into my coffee. Then I tried to French press it to see how the coffee tastes and it as very bad. Think favored coffee you get at Christmas time and you never use. Worse yet, they wouldn’t offer a refund.

seller poor, off taste
I had the same thing happen as others here. I did not get what I chose and they sent something random, the Hana. I would bet cash money that this coffee is flavored. It is like when you get hazelnut coffee, it tasted artificial to me. I drink a lot of different coffee, and this tastes wrong to me. I will say it does not taste badly, it taste like cheap flavored coffee, not like a pure ground unadulterated Kona coffee to me. jmo, and I am not the only one here with this experience. Others like it, so....

Convenient, special coffee
This review is for Volcano King Coffee Single Serve Pour-over Drip Coffee, Hana, Pack of 5. I did not receive the variety pack requested and instead received a 5-pack of Hana flavor. This product has an unusual and convenient format of flat single serve packets of pour-over drip coffee. Hana is described as medium dark roast with notes of sweet vanilla, roasted nuts, milk chocolate. It is harvested in Hawaii, which the website notes is one of only two US states that grow coffee (the other being California). This coffee is easy to prepare a serving using the drip container that sits over a cup – just tear off top of packet, pull outward to expand the mini coffee filter/coffee, place apparatus onto cup, and slowly pour over the hot water to brew the coffee. The coffee is very good and tastes in line with the description with a slight acidic aftertaste. It is delicious with added vanilla whole milk powder as "creamer". It does only make a small cup of coffee (packet instructions say to use approximately 150 mL (5 oz) of water, so it is expensive, but it is unusual, convenient, travel friendly, and high quality. It would make a good gift, especially the variety pack for recipient to try several kinds.
