A love letter to my favorite purchase of 2024
The year isn't even half over but I'm calling it: my flexispot bamboo desk is the BEST thing I'm going to buy all year. I went back and forth on what standing desk to get for two years, and this was the cheapest one on my shortlist by far -- next model up was $300 more, and the other two were $700 and $1200 more respectively. Happy to report I didn't waste my money on that.Pros: Wasn't too hard to put together. Height options are good for short people - most standing desks don't go low enough for me to sit ergonomically, and yet I'm the average height of women in the USA at 5'3.5".Always works exactly as expected, quiet enough to adjust during a zoom meeting, no wobble (even with 150lb on top, at the tallest setting). The motion is smooth enough not to spook my skittish cat who sleeps on one side. The controls/display are similar to high-end models (Uplift makes you pay extra for a display like this one). The price is also incredible - I needed a big desk for my monitors and didn't want cheap laminate since my old Ikea desk chipped and scratched so easy. The bamboo on this is TOUGH, no scratches yet despite the aforementioned cat's best efforts. Fits my laptop and three monitors with 10" to spare on either side. Just deep enough so my keyboard doesn't feel squished to the edge of the desk. As a bonus, the frame can easily be used with other desktops, so if I ever want a fancier version one day, I can rip off the bamboo top and replace it with butcher block. Perfect starter model for a standing desk.Cons: this is all very nitpicky, but I would have preferred a darker stain option for the desktop. If they make more in the future I might give this to my partner and buy another. I also would have liked four presets instead of three (sitting height and standing height for two people). Finally, I wish all the holes were predrilled. Most are, but I had to do a few myself. Doable without a drill but it wasn't easy with my scrawny lady noodle arms. Finally, I wish they offered this exact model in an L shape because even the biggest model wasn't quite big enough (I want a space for writing by hand plus a printer). The L shape models available at time of purchase had laminate tops instead of bamboo, and weren't deep enough to fit my monitors/keyboard/wrist support cushion.

I finally completed assembly!
There’s a couple spots in the assembly instructions that could have probably been less vague. Other than that, it was fairly simple to assemble. The 55”-long table is perfect for a larger (non-pro) single 3D printer with enclosure and a decent sized filament dryer. It’s “150 lbs” weight is plenty stable to keep my printer from doing the “Jailhouse Rock” and taking the whole table with it. Performance of the mechanics of the table were smooth and silent. The controls were intuitive - very easy to use. When assembling, use a finishing nail or something similar to line up your pre-drilled holes in the table top with the attachment holes in the frame. Check your alignment again with a metric tape measure (5.5cm from the edge of the table. It’s easy to misalign your base/legs if you don’t take a little extra care during assembly. The black legs with the bamboo top is awesome. Bamboo is a fabulous and entirely renewable resource that looks really amazing. And it’s weight adds to the ability to hold the table down under vigorous printing. I’m 6’3” tall and am at the point where I’d prefer not to have to bend over to tinker with my printer. It comes up to a perfect height for me standing straight up. And since I have no reason to lower the table, I’ve got LOTS of extra room UNDER the table for a filing/3D tool cabinet and plenty of filament spool storage. Now I’m just waiting for my “all-metal” hotend (AnkerMake M5) to arrive so I can install it and get back to printing. I left a print going overnight and it started collecting filament on the nozzle. When I awoke, there was a golf ball-sized wad of cooked and cured PLA encasing my hotend block and nozzle. In trying to heat and break off pieces of filament, I yanked out 2 wires that gave me an instant “Heating Error”. I was hoping to buy regular M5 hotends when I found the all-metal version. Just waiting now.Standing Table is awesome! Every bit as good, so far, as my wife’s more expensive version.

Sturdy, one-piece top, smooth movement
I love this desk. I purchased it after lots of comparison shopping (and one failed attempt at another brand that arrived broken). I felt like a one-piece top would be better and more comfortable than a multi-piece top, and I was right. It’s beautiful to work on, has a smooth, solid surface with no breaks, and is comfortable. The motors lend to smooth up and down movement, and it’s easy to set height preferences. It was also easy to put together — intimidating at first since the box was heavy but there are only a few pieces and it was relatively quick. I was also able to do it myself. The only thing I would say is that there are no predrilled holes specifically for the control box, and my drill couldn’t make them even in high torque (the top is pretty solid) so I improvised with double sided tape and then once the desk was upright I added another piece to secure.I purchased the 63”x30” version and it fits 3 standard size monitors side by side. The 30” width front to back is great too, and makes the desk so spacious. My previous desk was 24x55” so this is wonderful. So happy with this purchase. Spend the extra money and get this one, definitely worth it.

High quality desk that looks great!
I was a bit apprehensive of spending the extra money on this desk compared to some of the cheaper options, but everything about this desk is spectacular and money well spent!- The base and Top were delivered separately (by a day) and both were packaged SO well. Lots of padding and protection. I appreciate that level of care to get the product to the consumer safely.- The base is built like a tank! It's heavy duty. It was easy to assemble with the given tools/hardware.- The top is beautiful. The color is great. The finish/feel is great - perfectly flat as well. If you like bamboo at all, this is a fantastic choice. Remember that this is solid wood, which is why you are paying a premium.- The dual motors operate nice and smoothly. It's pretty quiet. The previous review mentioned that the motors sound a bit like they are struggling when moving the desk up - which I agree with, but it doesn't appear like it's struggling it all. Just sounds a bit more laboured, but still quiet.- The only stress inducing part (for me) was attaching the top to the base, and that's my OCD speaking. I had to use toothpicks to align the holes in the base to the holes in the top while adding the screws, just to keep everything square. It was probably overkill.- Overall, this might be one of my best Amazon purchases ever. Highly recommend this desk and seller!

Quality is Amazing for the Price
Firstly, the assembly was really really easy! The instructions were easy to follow and I'd say this is a low to medium skill assembly. There's a good Youtube video you can find if you need more help building this, I watched it and I liked how the guy went over every little detail even more than the manual does. I thought it would be more complex and hard while looking at the manual but once you start working on it you realize it's totally fine. I had a power drill with me, but I just ended up using my hands to tighten the screws and it worked fine... you really don't need a drill if you are an average strength person.Second, the quality is just amazing. The feeling of the bamboo is super smooth. It's very heavy. There is no chemical smell or anything. This bamboo desk is way way better than I expected and kind of crazy how cheap in price the desk is for the quality of the materials you get. This thing is heavy and not a cheap desk at all. The white frame is super nice too. It is not wobbly or anything, it is firm and just built like a tank. This is exactly the desk I wanted and my expectations were not just met but exceeded.I am giving this 5 stars for sure, and would recommend to anyone, but I do have to nitpick and this is really nitpicky as in... might mean absolutely nothing... read on:The only thing I question is the sound of the motor when it is going up. I have a 25 lb electric piano on it with about 60lbs of computer stuff so 85lbs. The motor sounds like when it goes down, it's very easy, but when it goes up, I can hear that it is struggling slightly more than I would have expected (varying motor sounds) and moves slower up than down, but not bad. That said, I know nothing about how it *should* sound, and it works fine. So, I am not complaining, it's just I worry one day the motor will die. (It hasn't! And maybe it never will). That said, I don't worry TOO much because this thing has a really good warranty. So maybe it's all good.In conclusion, I am super happy with this, best purchase I've made in years, and after building it and seeing my studio room all set up good I thought: wow, I made it.

Great Value!
I absolutely love this product. One of the best investments I've made for my at home desk setup. These are some of the things I was looking for in a desk.- Quality material- Sturdy, I wanted to be able to lean on it without it having any/little to no movement- Programmable buttons- Mid range price- Looks good- Quiet when adjusting heights This desk has all that! One thing to note, I'm not entirely sure if this is the case for all orders, but when I ordered the desk it came in two different packages and both on different days. The table top came within 1-2 days, and the motorized legs came after, around 4-5 days.Extra things to note- Packaging was great, no problems, and easy to unbox.- The legs are very heavy, depending on your size, you might need someone to help you carry the package from your door. Or just drag it!- When assembling, make sure to layout how you want to manage your cables before you commit to screwing the bottom frame onto the tabletop!Overall, I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a mid range motorized standing desk!

A Solid product so far
The Desk is nice, durable and sturdy when going up and down positions. Its quiet and the top desk piece is well built and the hardware is very durable and heavy, can definitely hold a lot of weight.I gave it 4 stars just because the instructions I found were terrible and poorly explained. There's a cable that goes from the power supply to a module that wished it was a bit longer and bracket that hold the power supply unit was able to be mounted.

This desk is fantastic!
The media could not be loaded. The setup was easy, although I have to say the instructions were pretty sad. Luckily I'm a logical person and was able to visualize how it worked. My friend and i put it together in about 1 1/2 hours. REALLY NICE things about this desk: 1. The bamboo top. Gorgeous and looks really durable. 2. The quietness and smoothness of the lift and return. 3. The fact that it's dual motor and you don't have to screw with a rod in the middle and make sure it's not over torqued or anything. 4. The touch pad looks smart. 5. It's very stable. This desk looks great in my office, and can't wait to finish setting up!!
