I love this machine, it does create a lot of smoke, so I would say have a vent fan on, or some type of air cleaner and shut doors to surrounding rooms. I am happy with the purchase. I was happy to be able to get a purple appliance instead of normal red, white or black colors. It removes so much grease and oil. It is hard to clean, I have decided to use a dark wash cloth and clean over the trash can. Even though it is hard to clean meaning a lot of wiping out, I rather have the grease in the machine than it be in my arteries. I donated it to a local Goodwill in 2021 it still worked was too bulky and took up to much space and horrible to clean.

This machine has been a life-saver for me. I recently found out I have Celiac Disease, making fried foods a "no go" as they are almost always breaded or fried in the same oil. Now I can make my own and not worry about cross-contamination. It's quick (for frozen items, fresh take longer), every bit as crispy as deep fat fried, and bonus, better for you.Double bonus, no messy oils sitting on your kitchen counter, splattering your backsplash, and clogging your drains if you dump it down the sink.I'm not over the top about the touch screen, I would prefer buttons, but it functions adequately.It isn't the hardest appliance to clean, but it isn't as easy as running water over it and done if only life were that easy.I've recommended getting one to my family and friends.

One of the top rated units on consumer reports for a reason. This is such a great value. Plenty of room in the basket, touch screen controls, temperature up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The colors are more matte and not metallic like the picture seems. The non stick inside the basket should be treated like the non stick in a pan don’t use metal to clean it or take out your food or it will scratch the coating and it will peel. I use parchment paper at the bottom to alleviate some of the mess and possible scratches its way cheaper to just buy a roll from the grocery store than get those round pre cut gowise brand liners. The recipe book is a nice little bonus and there are some pretty good recipes in it.

Other units being somewhat equal, I had to go with this one for the lovely PURPLE color! The learning curve is steep, as I try to figure out the best times/temperatures to use. Drawbacks: (1) The presets always need tweaking; (2) You cannot save a Custom Setting; (3) The unit DOES NOT TURN OFF without unplugging it; (4) Cooking takes longer than expected, e.g. an item which takes 1 minutes in a microwave takes @ 10 minutes with this air fryer. PLUSES: (A) Theoretically healthier than a microwave or frying pan; (B) Better Crispy texture than microwave or frying pan. I am still deciding whether this will become an often-used kitchen staple or a novelty that wears off. I think of it as a blow dryer for food : )

This has got to be the greatest air fryer I have ever seen. I use this almost daily. It cooks fresh and frozen. It is excellent for French Fries/hash browns/ tater tots. they always come out crispy!!

Or, at least for a while. I really loved my airfryer...until last week, when the fan stopped working. I hadn't realized I had it over a year until getting info together for customer service. They are offering a 20% discount on a new one if bought directly from them. I suspect it will be cheaper at Amazon. I will be buying it again, but am worried about the other complaints I've read on here...

Still getting to know it, but I'm a convert to.air fryers. Chose this one as reviewed in Cook's Illustrated magazine for best in its class and price point.

Product was sent to a UK address with a YSA plug! Adaptor did not work Terruble customer service full if problems. I threw the Aur Fryer away and just jept the Recipe book to use with another I bought elsewhere. Will not recommend this seller ever !

I was a long-time air-fryer hold out, but this was a seriously good investment. It's fairly user friendly (some functions I still have to figure out but there's a learning curve to everything) and it's easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  I DO NOT recommend this air fryer! I was so excited to get it because it was purple and matched my coffee maker and was a decent price so I decided to get it for myself as a birthday gift. I had only used it maybe 3-4 times before it caught fire WHILE OFF AND UNPLUGGED. The inside was still spotless, I had used silicone liners with it and had only made chicken burgers in it a few times (maybe fries once too).The night it caught fire I had just made a chicken burger and then turned it off and unplugged it (I always do - this wasn’t my first air fryer so it’s habit by now) and the bucket was partially out to let it cool down and it was sitting on my counter (the videos on my stove were just to show it when I first got it). Thankfully my children were at their grandparents for the night so they weren’t home maybe 10 minutes later I was in my living room when I started to smell burning plastic. After another maybe 20 or so seconds I realized there was smoke coming from the kitchen I ran in and the whole Air fryer was smoking with flames coming out of the bottom. I quickly grabbed it and ran out my front door with it and threw it outside. The entire bottom had melted out and I assume the fire started in the wiring in the bottom.I did get a refund (and they surprisingly didn’t want it back to see what caused the fire) but figured I should still write a review and warn others DO NOT BUY IT!
