Lyric… Chile
*Might be a spoiler for some*Grey kept me captivated with this book. It’s not often I continue to read books when I start disliking the main protagonist but baby, this book had me hook, line, and sinker. She’s a phenomenal writer and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series.I loved this book so bad. The plot was great although I knew how it would blow up from reading these types of plots 24/7. I loved how Ever spoke some wisdom into her friend because baby… Lyric was killing me. I wanted to reach through the book and knock some sense into this lady myself! Then, I found myself not liking Lyric towards the end because it seemed as if she was a lowkey gaslighter. She constantly wanted Keanu to take accountability for his actions but when it was Keanu bringing something to her attention regarding how she was running things, she was placing blame everywhere but herself and making him seem like he was in the wrong for wanting things to be a certain way so they both could be happy. What grown man wants to live how they were living knowing the consequences of their actions? I understand wanting to make sure she was absolutely right before letting the family know but I felt like telling it all sooner than later would have worked out so much better in the end. To me she made Keanu feel like he was in the wrong for speaking his mind, (albeit a bit much during that big blow up, but far from unwarranted ) and wanting them to be out, open, and happy together.Even with me not liking Lyric I couldn’t put the book down cause I needed to know what was next! Maybe I’ll even start to like Lyric again now that she done being foolish with Keanu lol.

Great Read
This book was well written & I loved Lyric & Keanu’s story. I gave 4-stars only because I felt like it dragged all the way til the ending before they FINALLY had come together officially. Now I’m ready to see what Laike is about.

Definitely recommend
I love Lyric!! She’s the baby of the family and deserves grace. Keanu loved her and I loved their story and her relationship with her brothers.

Good book. This one took me a while to read. Lyric reminds me of me in so many ways that I couldn’t stomach it. It made me look within.

Different
From Lyric was introduced in “Luca”, I knew that I wanted to read her story. She’s been dealt a bad hand in relationships that ended with her brother serving time so she is afraid to let her guard down and become open to love again. It doesn’t help that she is hopelessly in love with her brothers best friend Keanu and the feeling is mutual. Keanu has always had a soft spot for Lyric so when he received confirmation of her feelings, he makes the decision to make moves when he is free but is it too late? I really like Keanu, he is quiet and rough around the edges but he is BIG on action. This man went above and beyond to show Lyric that he was all in and wanted nothing else than to be her forever, but that quietness he possessed managed to screw up Lyric’s trust in him and for that, I understand her hurt and hesitation. However, it doesn’t negate the fact that Lyric is a frustrating character. She stressed me out at least 60 percent of this book. I had a hard time clearly understanding her thought process while reading . Some of the decisions she made had me saying “Is this woman okay?”. Her decisions just wasn’t aligning with she claimed she wanted with Keanu. I loved how the men wore their emotions one throttle sleeves in this book. There was one scene is this book between Luca and Keanu that moved me. I had to go back and read it again because the emotions made me shudder. With that being said, I felt the characters were in their head so much that it threw off the pacing. There is lots of oversharing that could’ve been use to give us more of the couple as a until on page. There was way too much telling and not enough showing. Also, there wasn’t enough development concerning the “boyfriend” Collin. It seems as if he was just placed there for shock factor because nothing really came of his presence. Also, when everything came out in the open, I didn’t get to experience the love of Keanu and Lyric on page because of an abrupt ending. Overall, it was good catching up with the Eisenberg clan and I am super excited for Laike and Baisleigh’s story

Lyric and Keanu
Lyric pursued Keanu while he was locked up, sending him a love letter on his birthday. She professed her love and deep feelings for him, however he was her brothers best friend and had practically been like family the majority of her life, but she always had a crush on him. Lyric was kind of bratty and needy. There story sometimes seemed to be unbelievable, but it was cute. While attempting to keep their relationship a secret, she ended up pregnant and once she lost the baby, the secret came out. They eventually married and ended up having 2 girls, KJ and Love. Again, this book 2 wasn’t as believable as the 1st, but I still enjoyed.
