Favorite lunch container
I ordered 2 of these and at first, couldn’t believe how small they were. I used them anyways to pack my lunch for work, turns out they’re the perfect size to fit my sandwich. The container seals really well so my lunch stays fresh and nothing leaks out. I like that it’s so easy to transport, easy to clean, and takes up little space in my bag. No more using plastic bags or other inferior containers. I also like the dividers it comes with and find them extremely functional for packing fruit, veggies, salads, etc. I’ve also used it for oatmeal (cold), yogurt, hummus, etc.

Durable, leakproof
I hesitated due to the price but this is durable and the perfect size! I have a growing 10 year old boy and this fits the perfect amount of lunch even for a big eater. No leaking and no denting as of 6 months daily use for school. Seal has held up and no mold as has occurred with other type pails we have tried. No weird smells even if food left over weekend in it :) if only it were less expensive I would buy for the entire family

slim to fit in a full backpack
My child loves this slim box, easy to put into her bag. The school bag is so full of books and dance shoes that larger bento box was too bulky so we went with this design for a better fit in her bag and it works perfectly. This is in use daily even if my child would prefer a school lunch we fill this with snacks.

Disappointing Performance
I had high hopes for the Blockhütte Stainless Steel Lunch Box. With its 47oz capacity, three compartments, and eco-friendly promise, my first impressions were quite positive. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned after just one day of use. The issue with quality I found is that at first glance it appears to be good quality German steel because it is a German company, but with my results and looking further into product details, it is made in China and not what you would expect.Initial Impressions: The design looked sleek, and the idea of a leak-proof, durable stainless steel container was appealing for my daily commute to work. The sealing seemed secure, and the compartmentalized approach to meal storage was exactly what I was looking for in a lunch box. I assumed the German branding meant top-tier craftsmanship, but discovering it’s manufactured in China left me questioning the materials and build.Durability Issues: After just one use—washing it by hand before and after—I noticed visible wear on the stainless steel surface. This was incredibly disappointing, as I expected much more from a product meant to withstand daily use. The wear wasn’t just cosmetic; it suggested a lack of quality in the steel or the manufacturing process, especially given the mismatch between the company’s origin and where it’s actually made.Structural Concerns: Perhaps even more concerning was the state of the welding for the side clamps. These are supposed to keep the lunch box securely closed, but after a single day, the welds were already showing signs of bending and loosening. This not only affects the overall integrity of the lunch box but also raises significant doubts about its longevity and safety for food storage, especially if the clamps fail to hold during transport. Conclusion: I was genuinely excited about this product for its potential as an eco-friendly, durable meal storage solution. However, the reality after one day of use was far from satisfactory. The visible wear on the stainless steel, the compromised welding on the side clamps, and the realization that it’s not the German-made quality I expected make this lunch box a regrettable purchase. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, Unfortunately I had to return it.

Good
So far, no complaints. It snaps and seal tightly and seems durable.

Must use masking tape to keep dividers in place.
Wish the dividers were magnetic rather than relying on gentle spring tension to stay in place. Because, frankly, the spring tension doesn’t work and my kids end up with “sloppy lunch” as the container travels in their backpack or up and down stairs. Masking tape is helping, but is an annoying fix 🤷♀️
