These low loss connectors should be called no loss. They are amazing. Pair these with shut off valves and you can significantly reduce refrigerant loss.

Works great saves my skin every time
These work as described. April 6th burned my hand worse than ever with refrigerant on an old 410a Goodman unit with zero clearance on liquid line service valve. These 90 degree low loss valves work great and have access to even the tightest hookups. Last week used these on a 1 1/2 ton Trane from ‘95, the old light green square one’s, and they worked beyond expectations. No more refrigerant burns here. And the best part if they start to leak, which when working with refrigerant is inevitable, I can just buy theses again for around $20 instead of replacing the whole dang hose.
