Received our fish, snails and shrimp in good order. They were packed with care and the shipper box was clearly labeled; which our mail man read and carried our little fishes to our front door. The package included instructions, that I used as a guide but didn't follow (it was tailored towards an aquarium).After some acclimating, I released the fish into the main body of the pond. The snails went about 50/50 main body and the bio filter. The shrimp all went into the bio filter.The bio filter is large, highly aerated and safe from the large fish in the pond, with stuff to eat. It feeds directly into the main pond and I am thinking that they will migrate out into the pond as they reproduce???: we'll see...There is a lot of underwater plants and rocks in the main pond to forage and hide in so I am hoping the fish can reproduce to a nice population. There are blue gills and large mouth bass in the pond that are about a year old, so I think that they can also serve as food for them as their population grows.I am just going into the second year of our natural pond and the biodiversity is increasing nicely. I expect that this addition to compliment this progress....oh, and reduce the mosquitos population too...Overall, two fish were floating when they arrived, but the rest seemed happy enough. I am happy with my purchase...

Out of everything only 1 fish and 3 shrimp arrived DOA. All the other animals arrived healthy and have taken well to their new environment. The mosquito fish are a bit on the aggressive/curious side, so make sure you have plenty of foliage for the ghost shrimp to work unmolested. The Trumpet snails are a silly and surprising source of entertainment; clinging to red root floaters and taking a ride around the tank.Update: When the fish were initially shipped to me in a blue liquid I didn't think anything of it; assuming it was some sort of stress treatment. Now I know what it is: ICH-X. I know this because I've been having to treat the tank for Ich ever since I introduced the fish to my new aquarium.So I was sold parasite-ridden fish along with Ghost Shrimp - which are now all dead - because the Mosquito fish are aggressive to each other and other species. They ate all the shrimp within a week despite being very well fed.So what actually comes in this combo are: Trumpet Snails, Sick Mosquito Fish, and Shrimp for them to kill and eat.Update: March 3rd, 2024I have been unable to control the ick outbreak on these fish despite constant water changes and fish medicine. I've tried to steadily increase the dosage, which caused all of my tank plants to die.The size of the parasites is worse than ever and now the fish are dying off. This situation has completely turned me off of aquarium ownership. I will likely ditch all of my equipment after everything is dead.Update March 9th:Despite daily water changes and constant applications of ICH-X, I've had to remove dead fish from my tank every day for a week. Today I decided to remove a cave rock from the tank and found 3 more rotting fish inside it. Only 3 are still alive and they are sick too.

All animals were alive and well upon delivery and opening, next day all are still alive and well in my aquarium. Excellent value for the price, instructions are very thorough and clear, very easy to follow. Not a single complaint from me. Would recommend.

Everyone looks healthy and it came with very through acclimating instructions which I thought was great for customers who are newer into the hobby. I got a few extra snails that I was excited to see are already active and curious in their little quarantine tank.
