Shorter than I expected, but still the most convenient bike lock I've ever used.
Overall, a great lock. The lock is very comfortable around my waist while riding my road bike or while sitting more upright on my hybrid bike. The lock seems strong and all the little details of the lock make it very usable. They obviously took a lot of time to make a lock that's convenient to use. However, I had to take off one star because it's a bit too short for about 15% of my locking scenarios. It seemed long enough for pretty much all locking situations when I took it out of the box. Once I took it out a few times, I realized I need to use it like a U-lock a lot of the time, which is fine, but not exactly what I was looking for.I'd definitely buy it again.

Awesome
This lock is perfect for locking your frame up. It's def a scary lock for someone to steal your bike. I highly recommend except that is not big enough to lock anythng but your frame on an average bike rack. The fact you can ride with it and it's like a belt is cool but it is very heavy which is bad and good.

On the heavier side but convenient
Great product. No issues and while it takes some getting used to (weight and adjustment) it is super convenient. I pair it with a ULock and still have my bike so there's that. Doesn't stick out while wearing either - you won't look like the Junkyard Dog wearing it to the office Ike you would with chains :)

good idea, execution could be better, and a little too short
First, I really love this idea of the wearable belt that also serves as a bicycle lock. There are two things I would changea) the chain is a regular cable-type chain made from thick squared metal elements. Hence it is as tall as it is wide. I wish the designers would have look at some flat chain options, e.g. box chains, which are flatb) it is unclear to me if it is to open on the adjustment (velcro) side, or by leaving the lock unlocked and just unhooking it when taking it off the body. I use the unhooking method, and the chain is rather short around my belly, therefore, not leaving much velcro for fastening.Great idea in any case, I wish a slightly lighter version would also be available.

I feel like an extra from Premium Rush
This is the coolest Lock I've ever owned. Gets tons of comments, works great, and is EXTREMELY practical. No need to use a bracket to hold it or a bag to put it in. Strap it on and do some track stands!

A Sturdy Bike Lock
Perfect for peace of mine as long as you don't carrying some extra weight around your hips. It is a bit short so I would recommend getting a U-Lock with a cable as well. I am able to lock my front for with it but with time and effort you could lock your fork and wheel. In short would recommend this lock.

This is an amazing lock
I have this hiplock and the hiplock lite. This is a stronger more secure lock than the lite version but combined its pretty good security for my bike. I chuck this hiplock in my bag and I have the hiplock lite around my waist. Locking my bike, I rap this hip lock original around my frame and back tire and the fixed place I am locking it and then the hiplock lite I rap around the front tire and frame. Altogether it makes it all fairly secure to anyone that dose not have a mobile disc cutter..

Practical bike chain
Practical security device. A bit short as shipped but you can get some useful extra length by undoing the plastic fastener at the end and pulling out the chain a bit. It's heavy but that's what you expect with a sold secure silver gradeThe padlock is a bit fiddly to use but you get used to it.

Great style of lock
I highly recommend this lock over D Locks as it is easier to carry on your body around your hip giving more agile control over the bike and secure storage.Only downside is velcro wears down easily, they should offer replacement sleeves.
