I bought this and when 1st turned on,it was flickering like worn out florescent bulbs. I wrote to the manufacturer and they wrote back the next day. They sent out an replacement and asked for some more information for their files. It arrived few days later and I can keep the original.In the meanwhile, company suggested to remove the bulb and re-insert saying sometimes, the shipping causes the bulb to loosen. ** Careful here. After turning the unit off/unplugging, they instructed me to wait 30 minutes. I assume there is a large capacitor that needs to be discharged" I did that and that solved the problem. Now I have two working unit and they really zap the bug. Some of the larger moths cannot get in the grill so they are hang near by but out harms way.Only thing I ask would be a on/off switch so I do not need to unplug it. I ended up buying a remote outlet so I can turn it off lazily.Overall, I am happy with the unit. I cannot say anything about the longevity but for last 3 weeks it worked well.Tk you.

Works great. Have smart outlets lights switches so got program to come on at dusk and turn off at 10 pm. Have not been bothered with flying insects

This is the best Zapper I have ever brought. It works very well I love it and the price.

Works very well. Cleaning it is kind of a pain.the bugs get backed on the interior bars of the light and need to be brushed out

[UPDATE] Seller reached out to me and sent a replacement. So far this one seems to be working well.[original review]I received this today, put it out to test it in the evening, and it worked for all of about 10 minutes... Then, next thing I knew, tons of bugs were still being drawn to the light but they were crawling around on the electrical grid without getting zapped at all. Now it seems to only work extremely sporadically... Unfortunate because I like how it is designed where even larger bugs can fly inside and get cooked, but unfortunately failing in under 15 minutes is not acceptable by any means.

Works really well. The first night there were so many zapped bugs all over the ground under this thing! The neighborhood birds discovered the buffet and regularly clean it up for me. I had to move it farther away from the back door because of the bird droppings but I consider it a W for me and the birds and a big L for the bugs.

Yallllll!! This is the one. I finally pulled the trigger on prime day and we live out in the country and our porch light attracts so many bugs I hate even walking out there at night.My husband and I sit and watched this thing work it’s magic. I do wish the cage was a little bigger for bigger bugs like beetles but it seems like once they are in there they struggle to get out. I couldn’t hang it and wanted to test it and it worked like a charm. Super happy with this fella

Does good job attracting bugs and zapping them. However it appears to be oversensitive or transformer set too high. Regularly arcs over when nothing there, zapping nothing at all.
