YOU NEED THIS
My husband saw this at the Barrett Jackson auto show and did not buy it there. The more he thought about it, the more he regretted not getting it. Alas, here it was on Amazon for the same price as at the auto show. He uses it to check the car and m/c batteries as well as as a maintainer. Once you have one, you will wonder how you lived without one!

This battery saver/maintainer works well for a decent price.
I'm charging/maintaining a 6V Optima battery in my Porsche 356C coupe. I got this to replace my more expensive one from the same company, which I've had for over 10 years. It seems to work as well as the previous one and at a lower price.
