It works! It's lightweight, functions as expected, it's soft and silky, and very comfortable. It has 2 sides, a silky side and a fuzzier side. I am a very hot sleeper and menopausal, so I'm always like a furnace. I do the one leg out, one leg in toss the covers, pull the covers back on, rinse and repeat all night long. Well, I saw this blanket so I thought I'd try it. I usually wake up with a hot flash and pretty sweaty. (I know, gross), but today....I woke up actually cold. I put the blanket under my top sheet, not expecting much, but I was hopeful. And my husband, is a hot sleeper as well. He got into bed and first thing, said, wow this IS cool!Of course, after a few moments, it does warm to your body, but if you move a little or fluff it, you're cool again.The blanket has just enough weight for me, and is quite comfy. Glad I bought it!

Bought the aqua blue...great color!The woman "buyer for the company" has a story bio included when you open the box. SUPER marketing...kudos to whomever hired her and then using exactly what sells the product: a person to person understanding of what IS needed (done in this case) in story form about how this blanket came to be. It feels feather light on your body; and if you wake at night like mel🌙, the top colored side DOES FEEL COOL! Yea! No more waking at 3a.m. because I am too hot!! Obviously it wicks moisture away from your body heat. The underside is a nice light & soft fabric. This cooling blanket indeed does what it says. They ask you wash it 1st, and while light on your body it feels heavy to carry it...so I was surprised 😮 that it did not weigh me down in bed. I bought for a twin long; it stays in place all night and is plenty big enough. And it was cost effective ... I first saw one on Facebook made of silk...retailing at 100 some dollars. Yikes!! $100 for a blanket...give me a break! And I got a break: this blanket.

I have bought cooling blankets before but this particular one is different. I am using in the spring with a light comfortable and is perfect for the cool nights. In the warm or blistery hot nights this is the only blanket on. Excellent choice for a real cooling blanket. I have a queen bed but bought a king to tuck in the end of the bed.

Can't say a lot on longevity because I've only had it a few weeks. However, I can say it's very light weight and soft. It has worked great for summer nights here in Texas. We've been able to do our part for the grid by not having our a/c turned down real low. I liked it so much, I got my special needs daughter one. She has trouble regulating her body temperature, and can't sleep under a heavy blanket. It has worked great for her too. You have to wash it on delicate and dry on low, but other than that, it's a great blanket.

This thing really is amazing! If you're like me you like to get into a cool, crisp, nicely made bed at the end of a long day, and this blanket delivers. I have a Boston terrier, and as much as I like to cuddle with him at night, he is a little heater. I can put this thing in between us and it makes a nice cool layer of protection. It's super light, so it doesn't add any unnecessary weight, and it's smooth like silk, which makes sliding into bed even more enjoyable. I am so happy I bought this thing! I can't wait until summer when I can put it through it's paces.I hope we never have to live through another 117° day in where I live, but if we do I have a secret weapon now!

Claiming this blanket is cooling is very misleading! It light weight and makes a great lounging blanket. It's comfortable and both sides have different textures but it's not a cooling blanket. Would I buy it again, probably because it's light weight and great for a reading/tv throw.

I got this for my kid in the summer. He likes the cooling effect when he uses it during warm night.

This blanket is so nice that my dog claimed it. Buy two if you have to share!!!
