It had it all. Loved previous characters in the story lines. All the women of whom were loved by the kings. Lots of laughter. I would have loved if there was an epilogue what came of the 4 Kngs and partners. Thank you Vi for a great series. Look forward to your other advenure stories.

What an amazing book and series!!
Mafia Boss was everything I expected and more from Vi Carter. This is the fourth book in this series and man what a page-turner. This is a dark Irish Mafia romance. If you have any triggers read at your own risk. I really enjoyed the conclusion of this part of the series. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time with Dana and Cillian. They were such a fun couple to read about. I enjoyed the push and pull that they each fought against. I always enjoy a good enemies to lovers genre. Especially when it is a dark mafia romance. Keep you guessing and hoping everyone gets what they want and deserve.Cillian and Dana were perfectly imperfect for each other. They came from different worlds and thought that they were not good for each other. I enjoyed the mystery of Cillian he was dark and broken. Dana was the princess of the O'Reagan family and very sheltered. What a match made in heaven. The dark knight and the princess who was trying to find her foot in the world.I am so sad that the Kings are done, but look forward to what is coming next. Vi Carter has a way with stories that leaves you always wanting more and she gives it. You will leave this series in love with all the men and respect for the women.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Series keeps getting better !
This series of books is so good. I didn't think they could get better but Cillian and Dana proved me wrong. I love that all the characters from previous books are still in the story but Shay will always be my favourite. How this author manages to write these stories amazes me ! I can't wait for the Handlers story .

Mafia Boss
Vi Carter’s Mafia Boss is the final installment in her Young Irish Rebels series. This book focuses on Dana O’Reagan, the daughter of Liam. For being a member of a mafia family, Dana was protected and pampered. She is unaware of the true nature of her family’s business. Dana’s idyllic world begins to unravel when her best friend Maeve reveals the truth behind Cian O’Reagan’s death. When she becomes the target of other criminals looking for leverage to use against Liam, Cillian O’Hara, freelance bodyguard and Shay O’Reagan’s best friend, enters the picture. There is an attraction between Dana and Cillian. They fight against it, however, Dana awakens Cillian’s protective and possessive streaks. Cillian agreed to keep Dana safe so that Liam would help him find his kidnapped and trafficked sister. Cillian works at balancing his search for his sister with Dana’s safety. Cillian and Shay have no love for Liam. Like Richard O’Reagan, they would like to see Liam dethroned. Will they be successful? Will Cillian find his sister? Will Dana and Cillian find happiness? You must read this book to find out.In this concluding book, Ms. Carter’s readers witness a shift in power from an older traditional generation to a new one of young rebels. Ms. Carter continues to follow the same pattern, regarding her characters, in this book. Dana and Cillian are strong, yet vulnerable, characters. Both are multi-dimensional. Ms. Carter introduces a few new supporting characters. Overall, the supporting characters are also complex. I appreciate how she brings closure to the life story of the O’Reagan children. Her dialog is outstanding. She masterfully uses descriptive language in designing her scenes. The scenes wherein Dana is captured by the Russians and tortured are intense. Likewise the final scene with the showdown between Cillian, Shay and Liam had me on the edge of my chair. Yet again, Ms. Carter built suspense with several of Liam’s manipulations. I like how she brought closure to this series. Thanks, Ms. Carter, for another captivating read.

Good
I've really enjoyed this series but this one left me with mixed feelings. I loved Cillian and some of the 'chase' scenes between him and Dana were fabulous. I struggled to connect with Dana and at times she was so annoying. They kept her so sheltered which made no sense for her safety and even though Cillian or her brothers and cousin didn't agree, it seems they kept that up at the end. I liked the storyline but if felt rushed. I think some things could have been explored more and also a little more at the end.
