I'd like to preface my review by saying that I don't write a lot of reviews, and I PAID for this headlight, I didn't get it for free, so this is an unbiased and honest review. This headlight is BY FAR the highest quality build to be found on Amazon (I have tried too many to count) being made entirely of aircraft grade ALUMINUM. And not just certain parts, but the entire housing of the light is ALUMINUM, nearly indestructible. It has the only 50 watt led light that I could find and this thing is like having a SUPER NOVA attached to your forehead. I wouldn't even compare it to other headlights, it's closer to the headlights of a car. It also carries an IP68 waterproof rating, power bank function, and type C input/output FAST CHARGE ability. And if you're worried about the weight of the 3 18650 battery compartment, don't be, because if you plan to use it while running, it's capable of working with just one battery and still being super bright. It has a motion sensor built in so you can control the different levels of brightness by just waving your hand in front of the lamp instead of fumbling around trying to find the button. The headband is wide and soft, making it comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Finally, the price simply CAN'T BE BEAT, and I looked at all that Amazon has to offer. But, the quality doesn't stop there. I have, unfortunately, had to deal with way too many companies customer service and, more times than not, never even got a reply. I needed to contact Phlipesam customer service because of my own carelessness while using my headlight. So, I was doubtful about even trying to contact them, being that it was my own fault. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, before I even remembered to check my email for a response, a package arrived at my door containing not just the part I needed, but a brand new UPGRADED version of the one I bought. This company STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!! I'd like to put it out there that this is a relatively new company trying to make it in a highly competitive market. And knowing how most well established bigger companies treat their customers like DIRT, I urge anyone who is searching for the BEST DEAL on the HIGHEST QUALITY HEADLIGHT with customer service that goes ABOVE and BEYOND, to give these guys a chance. These are the type of business owners that give back to their customers and makes them confident in their choice of purchase. These are the kind of people we should support.To reviewer Michael W who went on a crazy rant with math equations trying to prove that it's IMPOSSIBLE for this light to be as bright as the company claims: It's unnecessary to go into his calculations because right off the bat he starts out with incorrect values. His very first statement says that there are 3 batteries with 3000mah at 1.5 volts... That is absolutely, positively WRONG! 18650 batteries are 3.7 volts, so his entire rant is useless (no offense). Because if you are going to accuse a company of deliberately deceiving it's customers, and prove it using your imense mathematical knowledge, you have to start with accurate numbers. It's just the brightest light out there, that's all people need to know. Who cares about the numbers? I mean, come on, seriously?

OK so I've probably purchased at least 8 different headlamps over the years and this one is the best bang for your buck. It's bright, durable, and most importantly it only has 3 settings. It's high, low, and stobe. Other brands have like 3 more strobing options which I have zero use for. The only flaw is the advertised 170,000 lumens of light it claims to produce. It's literally impossible for this type of light to put out anything close to that number. Realistically it's around 2,500 lumens and that's being generous. That's because the type of batteries and LED chip set that it uses and that goes for every single headlamp that uses 18650 lithium rechargeable batteries. Don't believe these high lumen outputs the companies claim to be.If you're not sure about this one........ The answer is just buy it.

Purchased Sept 30 stopped working Jan 6. Was a good device the few times I used it. I'm a Package delivery driver, use this at night and is very useful do to the quick shut off and on sensor, have had it just a 12 weeks and used it a handful of times if I happened to be in unfamiliar neighborhoods. However two things, it's bulky to backpack, and if done so, is not wise to leave batteries installed due to the excessive heat that this device produces. It will burn you if you touch it after use, even just a few moments. Now imagine leaving it in a bag with such things like a hoody, beanie, face cover and the power button is accidentally pressed! Can we sing it together "this girl's on FIRE!Annoyed, go figure. China is great for making devices that last all but five seconds and stop working. There is a positive (at least temporarily) I salvaged the batteries and use them in another device! Lol. But likely the batteries will explode while on my head and since their lithium, welp! Call it the end!If this prediction perhaps comes true! My wife will sue just FYI! I'm worth WAY more dead than alive and believe me she knows it!

Can’t understand why this thing only lasted 32 days of use. Update… within hours of my review being posted the company contacted me immediately and was apologetic and went beyond making my transaction right. I’m like a Amazon super buyer haha I buy a lot of stuff each day for my businesses and personal life. Amazon delivery arrives almost daily for the last 7 years. This interaction with the company selling these head lamps is by far the best customer service I have ever had using Amazon and probably one of the best in my entire life. I wish every company would follow this ways of taking car of their customers. It was sad when my light would not turn back on, because I love the light and everything about it. I used it every day. It’s the brightest light I have ever seen for a head unit, its fit is perfect and the adjustability is endless. I’m sold on the light for sure, I’m buying another one and another… But for the first time ever I want to see what else this company sells. I’m just going to buy some other stuff just to support them because I was treated so well and I know they will have my back if another issue ever arises. 5 Star Company for sure. Get the light you will love it.

Big and a little heavy but works well

Super high powered, battery lasts a long time, comfortable to wear , good quality. I love this product , great for camping, fishing , riding bike at night , working outdoors at night . Do yourself a favour and buy one

Bought in March for use at the cottage in the water. July first use in the water and found the switch would not turn off the device. It has been too long to get a replacement for free. Had to remove batteries to ensure device stays off; otherwise it will overheat and I could see this being a fire hazard.
