It keeps count! Used it while serving food at an event to keep track of how many people we fed.I do wish the reset required more than just a simple push of the button. I could see how accidentally hitting reset would suck.For the maker, I'd recommend making the reset take a couple seconds before resetting takes place.

Came pink even though I chose purple. It's labeled purple but is actually neon pink. It works as described.

Of all of the "lap counters" available on Amazon, I specifically purchased this one for its "LED" function. I often walk laps at night in very low light conditions (e.g., outside with no street lights). This makes reading the counts on a traditional metal mechanical device impossible. Additionally, I recently noticed that the accuracy of the counts on both of my mechanical counters are becoming progressively reliable. I was excited to use this PHONEX counter. When i tested the two that arrived today in my kitchen with the overhead lights turned off, I found that activating the LED made the display even more difficult to read since it appears to project outward (away from the display) on the far right of the display. While the lighting conditions in my kitchen with the lights off during the daytime are pretty low, I could just barely read the display. When I activated the LED I couldn't read it at all. This product is JUNK! I'm forced to continue to try to find a usable product.

48 + a few odd hours. That's how long the purple counters lasted before locking up and becoming completely unresponsive.
