Product info completely false. Thread spools also hold very little thread. Only 16 colors. Two of each. NOT 36 like the description states. Do not purchase if you are looking for the colors specified in the details. You will not get what they say you are getting, nor will they refund you. Very dishonest company.

CONS:-VERY hard to work with!!! The thread is stiff, unravels quickly when knotted, and hard to separate into individual strands (I was using it for cross stitch). Because they unravel quickly I often got knots and fraying that required me to either cut them out or start with a new piece of thread. These are unlike traditional embroidery thread at all.-Some colors seem to almost flake off. There is a lovely lavender color that I used that, upon separating the threads for cross-stitch, seemed to lose most of its lavender color a become more silver.-Some colors don't separate at all. There was a multicolored/rainbow one that I attempted to use for an accent and wanted only a single thread. When trying to separate the thread it basically frayed (like a cut piece of rope) and I was unable to get the small single strand that I was hoping for.Pros:-They are nice colors. They're just almost impossible to work with.

If you want the colors shown and you are picky about what colors you want - listen to what others have stated. You don't get the colors shown. You don't get 2 spools of each color. You may not even get the colors in the picture. It is not their fault that metallic thread is a challenge to work with, so be forewarned on that. But they are inconsistent on how much they spool on the bobbins. Just seems like someone is missing a business opportunity that would not be incredibly difficult to fulfill.

So I thought that there were 36 different colors, there are not, but some duplicates. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, and there were a lot of colors. I was happy with the duplicates, as those are colors I will use more often anyway. Maybe a little tricky to work with as metallic materials are not as soft and pliable, but these should work quite well. Great selection, beautiful rich colors. Will accent any work you do perfectly. I plan on using them as accents and not a whole big metallic cross-stitch. Love these, cant wait to use them more

Colors are wonderful but I only could put the thread through the needle TWICE! was such a waste of time! Do not waste your money on this threads. The only Metallic threads i really like to work with It's DMC, it can be a little bit more expensive but it's worth it.

When I say that I mean, you will not receive all of the colors represented in the photo or a consistent number of the colors you do receive. I cannot speak to the quality yet but, the fact that some are already frayed doesn't look good.

Theres 36 pieces but only 18 colors. I guess it wasnt stated anywhere that there will only be 18. Its a great starter set for new embroiders.
