Bonide4501 Dust, Revenge Fire Killer, 1 lb Ready-to-Use Insecticide for Outdoors, Perimeter Treatment for Ants, Bees, Roaches, Beetles

I have been having ants living in my metal back door. I have tried everything to kill them but nothing worked until today. The ants have destroyed the insulation in the door. It come out in a fine white dust that floats in the air covering everything. I have long suspected it was styrofoam? No more than 45 minutes after we dusted the door with this powder, this small carpet was covered in dead and dying ants.

The label says the product works for up the 8 months following application. 1 day after applying, I noticed ant activity was decreased by an impressive 90%. Unfortunately, on day 2 it was back up to 50%, and on day 3 (see photo) it was back to full activity. There was no rain or wind to wash the product away. They were just walking on it like it wasn’t there. I will be trying a different product next time.

This may not kill fire ants as well as an Acephate based product but for the price it's ok, and it doesn't smell as bad. I like how the container is made because I can keep it on the lawn mower and treat the ant mounds as I go.

This product states it kills bees. It doesn’t. Applied twice to yellow jacket ground bee hole and it didn’t kill the bees. The bees continue to return to the nest.
