The fit is true to size. I love the length and fit the waistband is comfortable and no muffin top!! I know they are running shorts but I am going to try them as a bathing suit bottom as well, we will see how quickly the liner dries. Once I tried I tired on the first pair I ordered 2 more colors

Most Perfect Shorts
These shorts are exactly what I wanted. They do not ride in the crotch. They are stretchy and fit perfectly. I love the length and could not be happier with my purchase. I will be buying more of these for sure!

Returning however...
Out of all the 5" board shorts that I tried from Amazon, these were my favorite. I just didn't have a tankini that I liked well enough to match with the teal color. I also have discovered Lands End women's swim shorts 5" and found that they fit me even better -- albeit they are more expensive -- but I prefer them hands down for fit and style.

Perfect swim short
As an older woman with too much junk in the trunk I LOVE THESE SHORTS!!! They hold everything in at all the right places. Very comfortable but not binding. I won’t have to worry about chub rub bc the length is perfect! So glad I found these for our Florida vacation! You could even wear these as regular shorts and no one would be the wiser. I’ll be getting every color!

The perfect shorts!
I can't remember ever loving a pair of shorts like I do these ones. They fit perfectly, are very flattering and don't ride up at all! You can wear them to the beach or out to dinner. I'm going to order several more!

The perfect fit
I am so excited about these shorts! I can never find anything that's long enough that covers my butt or the high-waisted but these are phenomenal! I cannot wait to go to the beach and use these as multi-purpose shorts

Run slightly small compared to others
I bought this pair and one by G Gradual. The G gradual brand fit well, high waist. These by Baleaf were just a tad smaller in size.
