Q: How tall does the child have to be for the cadet size

This is suitable for a child of 5 plus. My grandson is 6 and a tall 6 . It is perfect size for him. I expect these clubs to be ok for him for another 12 months.

Q: Would this set be adeqaute for a boy who's around 165cm, 5ft5?

This set is adequate for boys from 142cm to 172cm. I took it for my boy of 145 cm , it is a little long but ok. For your boy, ok right now I think but not far from the maximum (172 cm), try perhaps set for women which can be adequate for boys not yet adults.

Q: Do the 12 plus come with head covers for the woods?

When I bought them, about 4 years ago, they did. However, the cover for the driver was a very tight fit and not easy to fit over the club head.

Q: Are these british or american?

I think they are British. Good value and ideal for a junior starting out.
