Our kids have my brother's old N64 and GameCube, but now they can use them on the TV in our bedroom. Much cheaper than trying to find an old CRT TV for them.

I had bought this for my Ruko stick in the bedroom for a TV that only had RCA cables. unit would not talk or work with the Ruko so had to buy a newer TV that i was trying not to do.

This ZUKVYE RCA to HDMI Converter is just what I needed to convert my older 8mm Video Tapes to digital using my video camera as a source, outputting via the RCA jacks to the HDMI input on my computer. It was very easy to hook up and use. My only issues were on my computer side getting it to recognize and then allowing me to record from the HDMI input.The device has a switch from 720 - 1080P to select output quality. This was not really necessary for me, as my camera was an NTSC based camera and either is overkill. I did not really have any issues with the device at all. You just use a Micro-USB power adapter from a smartphone, etc., with adequate power capacity, plug it up and go. This was a project too long in waiting. Now, I have videos of my son when he was little that I could only watch before on the camera's little monitor. Of course, I could have also used this device to stream them directly to my TV, as well. But I figured it was best to convert the media, as if the camera breaks, and it will eventually, I'd be stuck with no easy way to convert things. The tapes are also not the best when it comes to replaible long term archival media.This is a very nice little device to add to your device drawer. There are a lot of older vintage devices, cameras, gaming consoles, etc. which use the RCA output connectors. With this, you can use them with a modern computer or monitor/TV. The price is very reasonable. I can recommend it.

It doesn’t work

Works how you would expect. Even has audio where some others don't.

This RCA-to-HDMI converter works great. I can finally watch my home movie VHS tapes from the comfort of my own TV once again. In order for it to work, though, you will need a powered USB port on the back of your TV (most newer models come with this built-in). If you are operating on a slightly older TV, no sweat -- just pair this converter with a USB brick that has access to power in some form, and you'll be good to go. There's barely any noticeable difference between 720p and 1080p, in my experience, but that's fine with me. I couldn't be happier to have this. It also works great for playing old gaming systems, like the original Playstation, Wii, and more, on modern TVs. Highly recommend!
