Super Cute Paper Piecing: Designs for Everyday Delights

I loved the step by step instructions and the patterns included.

This is a very cute paper pricing book. I love that I can now download the pdfs from the publisher's website and save space on the bookshelf. I particularly liked the Rain, Rain, Go Away Purse, but feel like I can incorporate the paper pricing in project not in the book. Recommended.

Not at all what I expected. The measurements and/patterns are in this book. Intend to try these pattern with recycled jeans instead of linen. Well maybe linen too. Thing is it’s a great stash buster with solid suggestions.

It's full of cute, original designs and well written patterns.

This book is full of super cute blocks and great projects of pot holders, handbag, tote, pillow, fabric bowl, apron pouch, coasters and a mini quilt. The block instructions are separated out from the projects, so you could easily make the paper pieced block in any project you like. I’ve made a few of the blocks, for a quilt along the author is having, and the blocks came out beautifully! Some of the blocks are pretty intraquite (like the water can and butterfly, but really worth it.) This book does assume that you have paperpiecing experience, so if your a beginner you will have to watch a tutorial on YouTube or something because the “how to paper piece” section lacks a lot of important details. The biggest downfall is the patterns are printed on a large foldout page that is printed on both sides, making the patterns hard to copy! Uugghh Since I bought the paperback book on Amazon, they allowed me to by the kindle version for $2.99 and the patterns are super easy to print that way because they are in 8.5”x11” PDFs, so it is super easy to print them on stabilizer or paper piecing paper through your printer! Happy sewing!

Acho paper piecing uma técnica muito bacana e estava a procura de novas idéias. Este livro traz projetos muito interessantes. Vale a pena conferir.
