Maverick & Bridget's small town romance surely hit all those swoony feels with Vanessa Vale giving us all that possessive alpha male energy in MavrickPersonally, I found Manhunt to be an easy, fast paced, insta-love work place romance with some humour and drama to stir things up, lol.There's an age-gap, there's spice and there's heat + a connection you cannot deny.Super enjoyable and quick to read!I loved this one...I'll definitely be reading the next book.

He is super sweet too.✔ Few of the parts in the book are absolutely hilarious. Mallory and Dex are my next favourite's.✔ I Loved the bonds they both had with their siblings.✔ This book is next level Spicy.🤔What could have been better -✔ I wanted more of Dex and I want to know if Mallory is going to end up with a James brother.✔ I loved the spice but I think it overshadowed the story a bit. This is the first book I read by Vanessa and now I'm a fan. I loved her writing style and the way she creates a world it's easy to get lost in the plot and characters.I was in love with Bridget and Maverick instantly and there first meeting left me swooning and with laughter. The way things progressed made it a fun read which was filled with emotions.I loved getting to know both Bridget and Maverick. Their chemistry was smoking hot enough to melt my kindle 🥵. The little misunderstanding was a necessity for Bridget to take the leap. The bond they share with their loved ones was amazing.Cannot wait to read rest of James siblings. I hope Mallory gets her book as well.

Im gonna start with the cover. I am all about real people covers but when this arrived I actually really loved it. The colours/aesthetic. Its cute! Whats inside. Not cute, all spice 😮‍💨 Bridge is having a day! She throws iced coffee over a hot as sin guy, who later turns out to be the big boss of the company she works for. Ladies night starts with Bridge having to fill out a sex quiz her friend has created. How many sxual partners? What do you want from a partner? Desires? Reluctantly she fills it in and sends it. Mallory / Maverick.. M A.. she almost sends it to the right person! But doesnt. She sends the completed form to the big boss. And he not only reads it, but makes it his mission to fix her answers. But Bridge is hesitant..Maverick is Powerful, he is possessive, he’s massive (in every way). He’s not selfish 🫠 and very persuasive. He’s hilarious. He’s protective. He’s a good friend and patient. This is a brilliantly funny, fast paced and HOT. I devoured it in less than a day and highlighted SO much!! I had tears from laughing! The side characters are amazing. I loved Mavericks brothers. Super excited to dive into Dexs story now.

So Maverick is a Billionaire, runs a company with his brothers and Bridget is working in the company in Montana with a sleazy boss, Mav comes out to c what’s happening as it’s overspending when they meet.I will probably reread it as I think I must have missed taking some of it in as I didn’t want to put it down and it was late at night when I finished.I would have liked Bridget to have got revenge on the Professor. Although that may be in the extended content on her page. The ending starts to explore book 2 which is a different brothers story.I didn’t like the characters names, well I like the name maverick just not Mav as she kept calling him and Bridget reminds me of my Great Aunt Bridget. That’s a purely personal thing so didn’t mark down for it.The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is there were questions left unanswered however not a cliffhanger,This book can be read as a standalone.

Wow. A brilliant start to the new On A Manhunt series.Bridget is hiding from her life, hiding from what others have done, hiding from herself. When she runs into Maverick. Literally, cold coffee in hand.Mav just has eyes for Bridget. From the moment he saw her he wanted to protect her. And he does.Plenty of twists and turns keep the book engaging and captivating.I love the characters, plot detail and depth of story.I'm hooked and can't wait for the next book.I highly recommend this book and author.

I love a good boss/emplyee and age gap romance and this did not disappoint. I loved the insta attraction and how Mav did his best to sooth all of Bridge's fears. The side characters were hilarious and the light kink added a spicy aspect to an otherwise pretty sweet book!
