LOVE by essie Nail Polish, 80% Plant-based, Salon-Quality, Vegan, Pink, Free In Me, 0.46 Fl Oz

I am trying to move to healthier cosmetics and it's really hard. I found these polishes listed on several different websites promoting less chemicals in personal products. I purchased the top/base coat, the blue Walking the Walk, pink Get It Girl and reddish pink I am the Spark. Firstly, amazing coverage! You only need one coat unlike the big name brands that you absolutely need two or three for the color to really pop. The color with base and top coat applied lasts really well. I just went 14 days before wanting to change the color and only 3 of my nails were just starting to chip. I have a crazy dog that demands lots of walking/playing, wash dishes, gardening - basically I really put polish through its paces. My only complaint is about the blue. in the picture, it looks like a gorgeous, deep, almost midnight blue, but in reality it's closer to a blue grey. Not at all what I was hoping for. The picture needs updating as the other colors were true to their picture, but that blue one is pretty drab.

I love this brand, it spreads so easily and it does not dry out in the bottle so it keeps forever. And I love the colour

The polish went on smoothly, didn’t chip off, and was a very reasonable price.

The color was not as vibrant and didn’t last as long BUT the ingredients are clean and worry free. Will buy again.

The polish is plant based, easy to apply and with good coverage. It dries very quickly, and lasts a long time.

I typically do not write bad reviews, normally I prefer to say nothing at all, however, given I only received this product 2 days ago and I looked forward to my manicure using this new product yesterday, I was so disappointed when it started chipping not only at the tip of the nail, but also from the nail bed. It looked like 'pin holes' by the end of the day. I tried to return this product at the very least for a credit, but found out this morning it cannot be returned which is the reason for me writing this review. I have always loved Essie products, this one sounded like a great alternative, but just doesn't work as represented by seller & I think at the very least, you should be able to return and get a credit towards your account.

This goes on runny & is hard to keep away from cuticles. It also doesn’t help cover my mistakes like thicker options. It is holding up a long time, tho!! I’m a big Essie fan overall.

This is a gorgeous color. Perfect for spring or summer. I was concerned about how well the Love brand would wear and if it would dry quickly, and I haven't been disappointed. I use and Essie base coat and no top coat and I get great wear; doesn't chip or flake.

Color in the pictures is accurate. As with all Essie, the vegan / plant based polish is top quality.

I got the "revive to thrive" color, which in the pictures looks like a pastel pistachio color, a nice light green, but in person it's like...white with a hint of grey? I was really disappointed.
