O.K. but not the best idea pulley I've purchased on Amazon . . .
Ordered the Chinese aluminum 5-step pulley with 3/4" bore for a motor to be attached to a 1950's Delta 20" drill press that I am rebuilding. Received the package today. Was impressed by the finish . . . there were only 3 small dings on the edges of the belt areas. But that's aluminum! I can easily enlarge the 19mm bore to the .750 bore required but not sure what to do about a .235 slot for square key? It's too big for 3/16 which is the size of my motor shaft keyway, it's too small for 1/4" key stock and besides, I don't have a way of enlarging the slots other than a file?! I also made note of the lack of any set screws? The hub is 1-1/2" deep so there is room for drilling and tapping set screw holes in the two smallest vees. Overall, worth the price . . . I guess . . . if you are able to do some machine work on it? I'm interested in seeing how aluminum holds up to 2 horsepower over time?!!

I purchased this step pully for an old buffalo drill press that I have built in the 40's, I knew it wouldn't fit the one inch shaft so I bored it out and drilled and tapped for set screws where I needed them, Works great.

5 step pulley missing setscrew hole
With the bad existing reviews I was leery purchasing this. however it was made fairly well for a casting with no visible porosity unfortunately it was missing the setscrew hole to tighten on the shaft. I was able to drill & tap one & supply a setscrew & is working fine.

Amazing surface finish, no set screws?
The pulley looks great but is unusable without set screws. Fortunately, I can drill and tap and have set screws on hand. However, not all buyers will have this capability.The listing should be changed to warn buyers that this does not have tapped holes or set screws.

Mostly a good Product.
Price is good and delivery was prompt and correct but the Bore of the Pully which is supposed to be 25mm does not fit on a 25mm Shaft and when I pulled out the Calipers to measure the Bore it's actually 24.456mm. Will not a great deal off it's still a disappointment that I have to emery cloth the last half mill of thickness.
