Corioliss The Big Wave Professional Deep Wave Styling Iron

This waver gives a nice loose wave which means it is less likely to damage the hair. I would say it is better for longer hair, at least shoulder length, because of the deep wave.It is very quick and easy to use, even at the back of the head, but doesn't come with instructions. Brief user information refers to Corioliss web site but there are no user videos for this product. There are plenty of demos for deep wavers on You Tube though. It is not too heavy. You can take large sections and I tend not to clamp small ends that would create an overlap. You also have to make sure you use the waver top side up for the top layer and tilt it slightly to prevent a deep groove at the top of your hair from the edge of the waver. You get a nice look if you switch the top side of the waver on the underneath layers so the S bend of the wave goes in the opposite direction.My only gripe is the temperature dial. The box says temperature starts at 120C but the dial starts at 145C and has another 2 marked settings of 175C and 210C, although you could set the dial inbetween the markings. The dial is also on the handle, very small to read and quite loose so can move when in use if your'e not careful. 145C is hot enough for my hair which is fine but I do have a lot of it.In general it's a well made quality professional item, with the lastest tourmaline technology that is said to heat the hair from the inside out, therefore not as drying as some other plate finishes and essential for a product that in essence clamps and holds the hair at high temperature. I would still say that heat protector is essential though. Decorators masking tape provides good makeshift ear defenders till you get used to using the waver.The wave lasts all day.

I was looking for a deep waver for a while and even got bedhead one which suppose to be really good but it turned out it can not be used in UK without an expensive converter. Corioliss came with such good price that I had to give it a go and I love it. It heats up very quick and it has a dial to sellect temperature.It does the job beautifully but the "look" might not be for everybody and probably not for a shorter than chin lenght hair.I would also advise to try using it different ways ( thongs up or down) on different thicknes hair strains as this can really make all the difference to the look.The tool works both in UK and US . The only little thing that I found would be usefulwas a heat protectant mat to store the waver while heating/cooling it.Otherwise- great, 5 stars

Watched some YouTube videos on deep wavers but they were only available in America so I found this! I love it, it creates mermaid hair! I got bored of always having either Curley or straight hair so this is nice. You can get the same effect from plaiting wet hair but that makes hair very frizzy, this is why this is amazing! On the second day I brush the waves out and still get an amazing lose wave look. I got loads of compliments at work! I thought about buying this for a while before purchasing and it's the best discussion I made. Thanks Corioliss :)

Well.... I'm a fan of Corioliss products, as I have been using their straighteners for over 3 years now, and still work just as great as I first got them.I wanted a deep waver, so I was quite happy when I saw Corioliss sold one.Its okay I guess, but its neither good or bad....The plates are ceramic instead of titanium, which if you haven't used titanium before, you cannot smell your hair burning while using it. Ceramic gives off the burning hair smell, and it must be worse for your hair..Its temp goes up to 210, which is the setting i straighten my hair at normally, as I have mixed race hair. If you have difficult afro hair, I wouldn't recommend this.It does wave, but not as good as some results on the internet, and its a little clunky to use. However, Corioliss is a trusted brand, just a bit disappointed that they used ceramic instead of titanium. It would have pushed this score up to a 5 star.

THE DEVICE IS VERY WELL MADE AND EXTREMELY EASY TO USE. VERY GOOD RESULTS IN A VERY SHORT TIME, WITHOUT MUCH EFFORT.

Hate these! Burnt my ear really badly the first time I used them and it has put me off using them since. The surround should have more of a protective plate, in my opinion.

The tool is high quality, no doubt about this !Why 4 stars ?Because the results expectations are not as good as the pictures results shown on the internet.

Ha resultado ser justamente lo que buscaba, hace unas ondas grandes, en poco tiempo y de manera fácil, muy contenta con la compra. Había leído opiniones de si quemaba el pelo, que el pelo olía a chamuscado... no me ha ocurrido la verdad, con bajar la temperatura y echar un protector suficiente. En cuanto a que hay que estar un rato sujetando cada mechón para que quede la onda es cierto pero tampoco es un tiempo excesivo.Yo en general muy contenta.

Ciao a tutti. Conosco questa piastra perché la mia parrucchiera me la utilizza per farmi la piega a onde. Mi piaceva talmente tanto che mi sono segnata la marca e l'ho cercata qui su amazon. L'ho trovata e acquistata (prezzo ottimo) consegna in meno di 3 giorni!!!! La piastra è ottima (per chi la sa usare) : le onde sono larghe come piacciono a me e la piega dura fino a 3/4 giorni (ovviamente dipende dal tipo di capello). Arriva fino a 210 gradi. Consiglio davvero l'acquisto. Arriva nella sua confezione originale

Prima di acquistare questa piastra mi sono informata parecchio, sia per quanto riguarda la marca (mi era completamente sconosciuta), sia per la tipologia di piastra. L'ho provata subito, appena mi è arrivata e sono rimasta davvero soddisfattissima!! Facile da usare, comodissima e maneggevole. Io ho un taglio di capelli medio ed il risultato è fantastico! Le onde sono ben definite e belle grandi. La consiglio vivamente!Ps: allego 2 foto; calcolate che è la prima volta che la uso e i capelli li ho lavato due giorni fa!
