Not bad, not great
This requires batteries. It's nice that there's no cord to get in the way. But I could see me blowing through a lot of batteries if I wanted to use this several times a week. I thought I would try rechargeable batteries; I tend to use them a lot in many of the products that require batteries. Hmm, not good...after about 15 seconds, the unit started to heat up so I turned it off. Good thing. I almost melted the end of the callous remover (i.e., grinder) where the batteries are located. This is a mild/soft grinder, it's not going to sand away a thick callous very easily. Directions state to soak or use a lotion with the grinder. That may help. However, for a small area, a mini callous, I actually felt this was a good product. As long as you have plenty of batteries on hand. I suspect the 4 batteries will last me a few weeks, depending on how long & how often I use it. Ok, I talked myself into raising a 3-star review to a 4-star. You can spend more $$ and get a better product, but for under $14, this will do the job (or most of it).

can take the skin off too
This is a callus remover for the feet of a rather novel design. This thing does get up and go. Basically it’s a spinning cylinder that grinds off calluses. If you’re not careful, it’ll grind more than you want.It does come with an extra grinding stone and it’s recommended to clean it after every use. I assume you’re supposed to use water on it? And remove it? I find it odd you’re not supposed to get it wet but it recommends putting body wash on your feet and using it that way which is odd.I found it a bit tricky to remove the cylinder head. It also mentions not to drop it as I assume these cylinders can break easily. One thing I would caution: Careful if you have LONG HAIR. This looks like something that could really grab hold of long strands of hair.It does the job. But, with just one speed, it’s a little much. It also takes four AA batteries which are a bit much. The switch is odd and if you need to turn this off in a hurry, I think it would be difficult.Got to love the instructions. It warns against using this product outside during thunderstorms. Gee, now they tell me.I think a manual pumice stone would be safer. I just find it hard to get used to with it going so quickly whether you want it to or not.

Do not purchase this one
Janky product. Once I installed new batteries it was on and I turned it off because I had a call and when I grabbed it back about 10 minutes later it's super hot so hot I could barely hold it to remove the batteries. Returning today!
