I think this is more of an autumn hat than a winter hat. The colour is true to the picture - mine is hot pink. It is made of two layers of knitted fabric; the seams are exposed on the inside. The fabric is not terribly thick, so it's not what you want for the really cold weather. It's a decent option for rolling up in your pocket or your bag for if you get caught out, though.Although most people will be able to get this hat on (I had my husband try it, and his hat size is "outsize"), it's probably better for smaller heads. Note that it's also not big enough to turn up the edge - although you can wear it with the edge turned up, it ends up being sort of perched on your head without enough room to pull it down securely. So it really is only to be worn like it is in the picture - with no turn-up.

The beanie came as pictured, in a grey marl colour. I have never worn a beanie before as I thought hats do not suit me since I have a rather small head but this one has convinced me to buy more.It's not perfect - the material can feel a bit scratchy at times and I can feel it slipping off of my head quite a lot so it has to be pulled down. Therefore I do not recommend this for people with larger heads as this probably won't fit.It does keep your head warm and is great for those jackets/coats that do not have a hood on them. It is small enough to put into a pocket for a rainy day. Glad I discovered that beanies are not that awful - they've been super helpful for those greasy hair days. This one is also quite comfy once you get used to the material.

MKR Beanie Hat Men’s Women’s Unisex Warm Soft Knit Lightweight Winter Hat is one hat that I personally like for the one main reason the hat is so soft in texture, therefore, feels good when worn.I like the fit and shape of the hat and the fact it fits even my big head without any tightness whatsoever.A nice hat which is of decent quality for the price.Happy to recommend it.

I was expecting this to bit a little thicker material than what it is so it is going to be fine for the autumn but I am not sure that this is going to be winter wear. It fits on my head fine and does the job but you do have to watch where the seams are for it to look sensible. There is a very definite front and back to it rather than just putting it on any way round. The Colour was exactly as expected. I had not anticipated that as a wearer of glasses, getting the beanie comfortably over the ears would involve a tweak or two but it worked in the end.
