Pinky and the Brain, Vol. 2

One of my all time favorites because you are never to old for Pinky and the Brain lol! Didn't like getting something that was supposed to be new but was obviously used. The inside case was put in backwards,one of the dvd's had minor scratches, and the box looked like someone had played kick the can with it. So 5 stars for the show minus 1 for recieving a used for new dvd set for the price I paid.

Pinky and the Brain is one of the best cartoons ever created and I am glad that I purchased it. The cartoon is about two mice; one brilliant and the other not so much. The Brain has plots to take over the world and his side kick is there to try and help him with his plans. The plans never work but the Brain continues to try - he never gives up!! I love this series and have shown it to my children, who are now huge fans!! I would purchase from the seller again; it arrived on time and in great condition.

To tell the truth, I haven't actually viewed Volume 2 as I and my grandchildren are still digging through Volume 1 of Pinky and the Brain. My wife and I have been Brain fans for years, but I never seemed able to find tapes or DVDs of the Brain, not even in the Warner store in the Mall. And there are few Pinky and Brain souvenirs around, although we managed to find a few. So we(and our grandchildren) were overjoyed to find these DVDs. We had using some episodes that we had recorded off the TV, but some of these were incomplete, and we missed many good ones. Now we have all,or most, of them, and it is a real pleasure. And no commercials either! We received Volume 1 as a gift from my daughter and her husband, and then I immediately bought Volume 2.

Kids loved these videos. Watched them over and over. Great distraction for long car rides. Just what we needed.

YESSSS! Another fantastic children's TV show has been put on DVD for all to enjoy! This show isn't just for kids though, the show is well written with lots of innuendo. My husband & I enjoy the voice talents of Maurice Lamarche and Rob Paulsen very much, and we will let our children enjoy this instead of some of the rubbish on TV these days.

Love the two..

I received vol. 1 as a gift and loved it. This year I purchased vol. 2 and 3 with my Christmas money gifts. Because I love vol. 1 so much... I had to have the complete set. Every adult with a good sense of humor should own these cartoons. If your a sourpuss or a grouch, you should buy these immediately as therapy and play them repeat. Happy shopping!

Firstly, when you search for Pinky and the Brain REGION 2 and you are offered USA imports (Region 1 ONLY) you may feel a bit let down. BUT ... I have the US version, guys, and it plays excellently on my region 2 DVD players, as does P and The B Vol 3, and the 3 volumes of The Animiacs, and Tex Avery's Droopy. Maybe there's a risk but I've not yet come across it.Review? The thinking person's mouse, the Brain, and his clueless sidekick Pinky brought TV cartoons to life with the quality of their animation, wit and story lines, often parodying famous personalities and films of the time in the constant but ever failing quest to take over the world.Kids will find them fun but adults will enjoy theit humour in greater depth.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Okay, but next time you buy the DVD and I'll just enjoy watching it.

Great classic

Hard to believe but Volume 2 of Pinky and the Brain maybe even better than the first. There are some great shows and parodies here, which continue the same fantastic animation comedy and entertainment already established in the series. Lab mice, Pinky and the Brain are still bent on world domination, and attempt a variety of hilarious schemes which never seem to work out as planned. The single bonus feature is a great 30min. segment "The Audition" which as a spoof, has Wayne Knight and Mark Hamill auditioning for the feature (if only), but later turns into a serious discussion of vocal techniques. Overall, Pinky and the Brain Volume 2 continues to give more great laughs for the whole family. Highly recommended.

What is not to love about Pinky and the Brain.........father, son time well spent. I am not going to tell you how old we are but we still appreciate a good laugh...........
