Strong Crank, excellent value and Quality
My 1989 Mariner 175 had the original starter and it was very tired. I thought it could be my battery but that’s new, so I replaced with this starter. It cranks hard, fast and starts very quickly. This is an excellent value and after 2 trips, so far so good. Glad I bought this.

Perfect fit!
worked on a 1992 merc 200hp outboard perfect! Remember to reuse the rubber boots on top and bottom of old starter or new one wont fit in place! Engine fired right up

Started my boat twice, had to get towed in today.

Spoke to DB Electrical to insure this was the correct part. CS Rep assured me it was. Arrived quickly. Easy to install if you paid attention to how the old part came off. Once installed, boat fired up immediately. Price was more than 1/2 of a new one locally ($140) and less than quote for rebuild ($90-$120).

So far it's okay
So far, so good. Purchased in August and still working. Even though I have only used the boar a few times. Hopefully this last awhile, had the original starter in it for years.Also note, their customer service was greatWill keep everything posted as time goes
