I'm never going back to sand. Need to backwash way less. Pool is staying crystal clear.

These are perfect. They keep our pool clean they make our pool not look murky even after we put chemicals and everything we need in it. It just keeps the pool very clean.

This is the best pool technology to come around in some time. About 100 times easier to deal with than sand, WAY more efficient, and reusable. Can't really ask for more than that.

When I bought a sand filter, I decided to use filter balls. These work great - I change them out once a month - put them in the mesh bag (I try to push out as much as the nasty water as I can) then toss them in the washing machine. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is that with so many balls, you really need 2 mesh bags to wash them in. With all of them in one bag they really don't get completely clean with one washing. I had to do 2 cycles - but I have another mesh bag at home so now I divide them up.

A friend recommended these filter balls for our pool Sand filter and they work wonderfully well easy to install also love the fact that you just take them out of the filter place them in the mesh bag toss them in the washer to clean them, great value for the money way better than buy cartridges like we did with our old filter

Had a cracked filter housing and decided to try these with the new one instead of sand. Replaced 150lbs of sand with the recommended 4.6lbs of balls. After a couple days, I noticed sediment on the bottom of the pool as would be expected with a few days of use. Vacuumed it up and it would be in the pool again in a couple hours. Tried backwashing the filter, but water was coming out clear. The pool keep getting cloudier. Eventually popped the top on the filter and... it was disgusting. The balls were filtering it, but must have been floating to the top during a backwash and filtering that too. So much gross stuff was in there. I don't see the point of having to take apart the filter and manually wash these and backwashing wasn't working. I went back to sand. You either need way more of these, or they simply don't work because they float and block the ability to backwash properly.

I love these so much easier to use than sand and our pool water has been crystal clear since we started the pump.

This product works better than any filters we have purchased in the past.
